A few weeks ago, I got a new computer as my old one was destroyed. It's an Asus G50V laptop, very nice computer. After I installed Impulse, I played Sins (on highest graphics, beautiful), and it ran great, so I decided to get Entrenchment. After playing for a bit, I got an error saying that Program Files x64 was corrupted. Before this happened Impulse seemed to be having some issues, with the menus being black and the text being invisible until I scrolled over it. After I wiped the hard drive
I've messed with the settings and they've always been see through. However, I have a Radeon 9200, so it might have something to do with that set of video cards.
My planets are always see-through, but stars are solid. Is there any word on what might cause this? Is it just old video cards?
I just downloaded the newest drivers, which happen to still be over a year old. I'll see if I still get the problem but I suppose I will, I also downloaded the Beta patch, so I can see if it's resolved there. I guess this is probably because of my computer, because I also have the problem with the see-through planets, where as thawn does not.
No no silly, it's Sauron controlling the fleets of the Sangheili.
Well I get lag on the research page at any point in the game, on large and small maps. We're running the newest complete version of the game. I have a VisionTek RADEON 9200 Series,128 MB memory. I have 760 MB RAM, processor is Intel Celeron 2.93 GHz. If you want anything else tell me, I'm not extremely adept with the hardware stuff.
Whenever I open my Civil and Military research pages for any faction, my game lags. My friend, who has a better computer, also has this problem. We can run the actual game without lag, we only get lag on the research pages. Anyone have an explanation?
I'm not sure why, but when I am on the Civil and Military research pages, my game lags a lot. My friend who is running on a better computer than mine has the same problem.
Okay, for some reason it would not let me on before I allowed it past my firewall, even after I had shut my firewall off. Before when I tried to get online with my firewall up I was not in window mode, and I couldn't get to the firewall window thing to allow the game to go online. Just opened it in Window mode, allowed it past my firewall, and it works online now. I have no idea why it wouldn't work with the firewall completely off, but whatever, it works now. Thank you for trying to help me tho
Okay, I've had the game for a while now, and I've played it only offline. I took it to a friend's house and tried to play LAN over two laptops hooked up with an Ethernet cable, and on my version it would not let me get online; i could not create a game and it would not show any current games. I got "Network Error" every time I tried to create a game. Today I tried to play it online on the internet, I have the new update, and when I try to log in it tells me "Network Error: Disconnected fr
