this would have been an awesome solution to my problem unfortunatly your link takes me no where but a microsoft "generic index" of resourses. and i have never heard of SP3...maybe i should get all the optional .net and other updates for my puter since i cannot get bootskin to work at all. for more info on my problems see my post in the bootskin forum.

does there happen to be a list of bios makers that bootskin does not work with so i can stop pounding my computer for giving me the same problem? i have tried all 3 versions, the .bootskin files load fine into the bootskin program and they preview well but unfortunatly i cannot get any to work. i have tried all included skins and downloaded several that i like but to no avail. i would like to be able to use the cool startup screens. here is my system information with a few additions/sub
