It's the internet, people will complain about the game and how it's a rip off of this or that and how they would never pay $40 for something they can do for free, etc. etc. Then it will be released and they will be at gamestop on day 1 to buy a copy.

I tested this on several maps against the AI and it appears there are only a couple where the opposing citadel is close enough to snipe from your base. However, by level 4ish you should have enough mana regen (and Snipe II) to snipe from a little in front. The trick would be to avoid getting pushed back too far into your base such that you can't snipe.

When attempting to get into a Pantheon game I got to the NAT traversal window and it listed many names, perhaps 6 or 8. Shortly after (I wasn't watching to see if they all went green but I'm fairly sure they all stayed yellow the whole time) the window disappeared and I was taken back to the Standings window with "Finding Players..." at the bottom and the graphic fading in and out. After waiting a minute or two with no game I cancelled out.

1) Launch Demigod and create a custom game. 2) Switch over to Impulse and locate your game in the game browser. 3) Attempt to join the game. --> Notice that the error reads: "Your version (0.95.034) of Demigod does not match the host's version (BETA.1.00)." I wouldn't expect this to work, but I would expect a more reasonable error message. I also suspect that this occurs when joining someone else's game?

1) Create a custom game. 2) Have someone join the custom game. 3) Joiner opens the demigod select screen. 4) Host cancels the game. --> Joiner gets dialog saying game was abandoned. 5) Joiner clisk OK on the dialog. --> Joiner still has demigod selection up. If they cancel it they are sent back to the game listing.

Crashes are the worst thing that can happen during a game. Is there any way we (testers) can help resolve them? I just had a game that locked up, is there a log file I can send to someone or a crash dump? Nothing special was going on in the game that I know of, the whole thing just locked up.

Just in a game where someone disconnected right after the citadel was destroyed before the score screen. This caused the eject UI to appear underneath the score screen and not go away which led to me having to exit the game via the X (windowed mode) since the rest of the UI was blocked by the eject screen (even though it was in the background). Ejecting players and waiting did not resolve the issue.

I actually quit TF2 because of the unlocks. I went back after a hack came out that allowed me to unlock all the items without screwing up my achievements. In an even match (competative play) if one team had access to the unlocks and the other didn't then the team with unlocks had an advantage because they had more options available to counter our strategies with.

http://demigod.wikia.com/wiki/Items I typed up the name, cost and tooltip for every item in the game right now. I'm fully aware that it will all likely be out of date as soon as the next beta (or release) rolls around but I got annoyed not being able to reference items in the field using my second monitor so I typed them all up anyway.

If you want to be able to take on other Demigods 1v1 then play an assassin. If you want to patrol the map as a team (with a couple other demigods) then play a Gneeral. In a group of 3 players I would take along one or two of Sedna/Oak/Queen and one or two assassins. I was in a game where one side had 2 generals and the other had 2 assassins and both teams pack hunted the entire game. The match was very close and I think if either team had gone tripple assassin (or trip

Even worse. On some maps the citadels are relatively close to each other. It only takes 45 level 1 max-range snipes to take down an un-upgraded citadel. That is 11.25 minutes with 1 Regulus, 5.6 minutes with 2 and 3.75 minutes with 3. The obvious counter to this is to upgrade your citadel but the regen rate isn't fast enough so you are only delaying the inevitable. Can a regular mixed team of players push and win faster than that? Regulus can also fight at the

Oh, for leveling you can use Heaven's Wrath. YOu get kill credit (and hence XP) for units killed with it. Only usable every 60 seconds but if placed right it can net you ~300xp which will eventually get you to level 4 (for next rank of snipe).

Can anyone think of a counter to a team of 4 Regulus's where they coordinate and time snipes from the start via some kind of VOIP? I'm worried that this will be *the* strategy for arranged team tournament play since a max-range snipe (snipe from the base) does over 500 damage at level 1 per Regulus (2000 damage) at level 1 without even coming out of the fog of war. Most heros don't have that much health at level 1 and those that do will definately be low and have to go back to t

1) Choose the favor item Magical Coin Purse. 2) Go to the citadel with 540 gold. 3) Try to buy one of the War Rank 1 upgrades (which are listed as costing 540 gold). 4) Note that you can't purchase any of them even though they are listed as costing 540 gold. 5) Get up to 600 gold. 6) Purchase one of the upgrades. 7) Notice that you were only charged 540 gold.

For Pantheon I agree with arranged team battles (instead of only having random teams) but I disagree with letting them battle each other. Allowing people to arrange who their enemy is in an automated tournament will lead to exploitation.
