Compaq with an AMD 4200+, 1gig of generic ram and a Gforce8800 GT running Vista home Prem. No issues or crashes with graphics maxed out. Vista really isn't as bad as a lot of people make it out to be, although it does run a bit slower than XP with the same setup. *shrug*
well, they have definitely come in handy for when I miss a pirate attack warning while helping my daughter with her homework lol.
from what it seems, you just get an influx of new ships every so often wherever you have the phase stabilizer. I didn't noticed if it went up against the ship cap, but for some reason, I don't think so. I hadn't realized it was adding shipts to those sectors until I came accross and there were almost a hundred ships in the two sectors I had places the stabilizers.
