I think it's pretty simple based on what's available. Ironclad games provides the server interface but when you host a world it's your server (virtually speaking anyway)--you are the admin and moderator. If you can establish your own game server with an atmosphere, style and reputation for play of a specific type then you will attract those sorts of players.
As a new player, Welcome! And yes, Imperium, it's pretty simple yet it's not easy to foster accountability.&nb
and why have i got denied up there? if only one person says that is me? and that makes it my smurf? protoplazam fix up dude.
"Denied" reflects that Blackhawk141 has "Denied" f-35 Lightning as an alternate player or smurf of his.
Screw micromanagement. This is supposed to be a grand strategy game that was touted as "reduced micromanagement."
But then you end up with the Zerg syndrome. Mass, and maul mayhem.
The problem is that any smurf that's been played long enough for us to identify it as a smurf probably has a somewhat established record with at least 20 or so games. The real problems are smurfs with less than 10 games. You can get lucky (especially as fat kid riding on a team of good picks) and get a good win % with little to no skill there, or you could be a smurf. We don't know, and too few players have actually gamed with the

This has been batted around for sometime, but the actual implementation of such has been compromised or stalled out altogether. The idea here is simple; a collection of a smurf directory that will report instances of alternate player names for established or "known" players. This will necessarily be comprised of accounts reported by and confirmed via substantiated corroboration from the multiplayer community at large. The categories will be documented as follows: <
(suggestion #2 isn't bad either)
Yeah, I do like the multi-grouping idea, but in the interests of "being careful what you wish for category", if you auto enable fire control and target aquisition across the board then I think good micromanagement skills begin to be less of an advantage because it might "level the playing field" a little too much.

I will pay you just for thinking of it. Where do I send the money?

Fallout III is amazingly immersive in it's breadth of scope. As captivating as cereal straight out of the box to a pothead. Graphics are outstanding, rich in detail and texture in order to appreciate some of the great mod characters you can add as followers. Strippers!

I played a multi-star "Role-playing" game hosted by this guy Code-something, I will have to look at the replay for his name, actually I should post the replay because it's hilarious, but, anyway he states that all he wants to do is have a nice long four player ffa roleplaying game. After an all-nighter out with my friends it was like 7AM my time and there were no other games, so I decided what the heck, we'll see where this takes us. The two other players besides him and I were
personally I think they should just remove z-axis control from the game, as it stands 99% of the time a player is using it, it's to commit some sort of abuse. Better to remove it entirely from direct control, only allowing ships some limited z-axis pathing ai to clear obstacles.
"Some sort"? There is no abuse in using the Z axis if you have the time/ability to micro. And as far as pathing goes, this applies as well. It's well known that while it's a pain in t

Finger, and Cloaked. My, my. You guys don't want to end up like Leviathan, that guy is still trollling the old clan forums trying to get his hamachi hw on. I used to play with Finger alot. He would get on TS without a mic, but he could type like 90 wpm so his excuse was he didn't need one even if he could afford it. Some of the SF and XENO guys started playing SoaSE when it came out, but they have dissapated. Even a few chikens were playing Sins, and TFL
I think after this movie's flop, Cameron is going to get over the shiny lights and pictures, and move on to presenting a great universe AND a great storyline-movie to go along with it.
Wow, what's your next predicition? Any ideas about the stock market? This (3-D) flick was without doubt the most visually stunning cinematic experience I've ever witnessed. Everyone kept bashing it for not having a storyline, thin plot, and this and that. I say poo poo on

And I hear the Mexican Jumping Bean Planet Tree is getting a MAJOR ovehaul! But, maybe I just heard that from the voices in my head, and they speak Spanish, so I don't understand them.

Original poster; ibgsloan: What we have here, is; Failure to commoonecate! While your inquiries and responses are intelligent and well spoken, your staying power is what's important. You and your bud want to take it to the next level, and being veterans of RTS, you should know that every "community" has it's own cliques. Leaderboard Junkies, Top-Guns, & Ladder-Climber types abound in most, and self-consumed "gunslingers" in SoaSE is no different. I ca
Actually the HW community spearheaded the first major forum on the game. We were all at the original and then IC's original forum and then filtered out as it became less and less certain when a publishing agreement was going to be finalized or when we were going to get more info. I didn't realize this was a new forum. I thought I'd just forgotten my password so I made a new ID without the Chiken tags.
Bawk @ Pherdunt!
