Actually there is a LOT of dialog that is not voiced. It's kind of strange that NPCs will often just speak a couple lines of dialog and the rest you have to read. I don't really mind it much since I tend to read the subtitles anyway, but it is kind of nagging. Importing images for units or sovereigns would be sweet. Just as long as it's easier to use than the damn Icewind Dale importer I was playing with the other night. That was a pain, especially with the 8.3 filenames and separate thumbnail images. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]

If you've listened to the kinds of things that Beck says on his show, then it's pretty obvious why a company wouldn't want to be seen as supporting it with ad money. Even Beck can't explain or support his statements, he's just in it for ratings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKZ1qbDyKOM That said, Brad is certainly within his rights to disagree with anything that anyone does and make choices about how to respond

Or maybe the line could just show up if you hover for a second over a square on the map, that way you don't have to right-click, which pretty much commits you to giving a move order unless there's a way to cancel that click before issuing the order. Or it could just show the line if you left-click another square on the map. That might be easier.

Well, alt-tabbing alone doesn't do it. I assume the app itself is responsible for recognizing whether to start another instance when the icon on the taskbar is clicked, but I really don't know how that actually works. Whatever the cause, the effect is that a second instance is running beside the first, and I know that most games don't allow that to happen.

Here's a vid of the behavior... http://screencast.com/t/JGQsohhgT8K Think I need to move the cursor slower next time so that it's not so jumpy in the vid... but it does show that you can select 2 units at the same time and that they both end up with the same movement order

Yeah, that was my problem. The res was same as my desktop, so it looked fullscreen. Couldn't move the window or resize it. Changed the resolution and it displays fine now. I guess that should be considered a bug. I don't remember reading that one though. Was it already reported?

Unchecking the Fullscreen option does not change the game to windowed mode. I unchecked the Fullscreen option in the Video settings window and nothing changed. I started a new game, but it still didn't change. I exited the game and restarted, but it still starts up in fullscreen mode. When I went back into the Video settings window, the Fullscreen option is still unchecked (as shown in the pic) but the game is still displaying in Fullscreen mode. <a hre

Yeah, unchecking fullscreen doesn't seem to fix it... i unchecked it and started a game... it didn't change.. so i exited the game and restarted... still starts in fullscreen... went back to settings and fullscreen is still unchecked... looks like a bug..

Yeah, I had the same issue with Comodo. I was able to alt-tab out and fix it, but YMMV with that method since alt-tab seems to be very wonky for a lot of people. I did discover that if you wait long enough (and maybe hit some buttons and jiggle the mouse a lot :) ), the main menu screen will come up anyway. But when I tried to start a game, none of the factions showed up in the interface, so I couldn't start a game.

I was told by Stardock support that I would have to completely uninstall Comodo to get the game to work. Since that's just completely ridiculous, and because I don't intend to leave my system without that protection, I ended up asking for a refund instead. To Stardock's credit, they processed it the very next day and it should go through soon. That's a lot better than you'd get from most game publishers. I still think it's crazy that this game can't run when Co

Yeah, I'm glad it's working for some people, but the game has some serious bugs still. Won't even launch for me. I'm gonna give them a few days and if it's not fixed, then I'm asking for a refund too. Why am I paying 40 bucks for a game that won't even launch?
