If I try and apply a theme whilst logged in as a Standard User in Vista (Home Premuim) only some of the icons are changed, even though I am asked for the Admin password before IP opens. The Live folders, and recycle bin, for example, aren't changed. But If I apply a theme whilst logged in as an Admin user, IP works as expected.
Mine won't open either. The error says:C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\IconDeveloper\IconDeveloper.exeA referral was returned from the server. What ever that means. That's on Vista Ultimate. But it works fine on my XP SP2.
Ditto. Same error on Vista Home Premium.

No it doesn't need XP, but it does the same thing in XP anyway. I have emailed the details to stardock support... yet to receive any reply.. at all.

Yes. Toolbar icons aren't changed, but then they weren't in WB4 either. There seems to be an issue where WB5 continues to repaint apps that are not responding, even if you end task. You have to end up killing explorer.exe or unloading/reloading WB to clear them. But I don't know if thats limited to W2K3 or not.

Using the Arrow skin, for example, when a window is maximized the window loses the transparent border, and the title bar becomes black instead of transparent. Is this by design? I hope not. STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+ WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC. WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins. You have 2 monitors. (Default Monitor) 1 is attached to NVIDIA GeForce4 MX

Its a technical reason due to limitations in the Windows OS. Constant alpha & colourkeying would work with live transparency, but per pixel cannot without some serious recoding of explorer So is contast alpha not possible? Or however other apps do it? There must be a lot of "serious recoding of explorer" going on.<img src="http://images.stardock.co

Win 2k3, WB 5 beta2. I have set the "Fonts For Classic Widgets" to all be Tahoma -11 in SkinStudio. But every time I change a skin these settings are ignored. The classic fonts (i.e. Display Properties/Advanced/Other Advanced Controls) revert to Times New Roman and MS San Serif. I can manually change them all here, but this is lost when the skin is next changed. All normal "skinned" fonts seem to be applying correct.

Win2k3, WB Beta2, NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X I don't know if this is way it's supposed to work, or maybe it's a problem with my video card, but the taskbar isn't "really" transparent. If I choose the aura or arrow skins I can see my wallpaper behind my taskbar. But if you move any windows behind the taskbar they aren't visible. Other programs I use can make the taskbar truly transparent, so I can't imagine it does this on purp
