Ok, well hopefully the next release will be available soon, but until then, I will just keep doing it this way. I want to thank everyone who has helped me and I apologize to Stefanie Lewis for sort of taking over her thread. That was not my intention.

I was thinking it could also be the number of cursors it was trying to load. I have nearly a thousand themes. I was adding some back to the CursorFX folder and reopening the control panel after each time and it took longer to open each time. I've actually been going through the ones I have and getting rid of ones I don't like as much as I did when I downloaded them. Anyways, I will just move a group at a time, go through them and then move them back out and move another group in until I have
Try and remove all your old cursors-themes from the CursorFX\themes -folder (just move them to a save location). Then try to bring up your CursorFX-control panel again using the Start-menu as it should work now.
Thanks, aufisch. I did that and the CursorFX control panel came right up no problem. I wish there was a way to convert all of the CursorXP themes to CursorFX. I have a lot of themes and I really don't want to re-download them all again.
Seabass, this is the page I downloaded it from: https://www.stardock.com/products/cursorfx/ If the latest version isn't there, then yes, please make it a user request. If that's something in the actual program, I can't bring that up.
Thank you, Seabass, for responding. I have a shortcut to that folder where all of my downloaded themes are located, but what i liked with having the extra tab in Mouse Properties is being able to see what a cursor looks like before applying to change it. Doesn't matter, I guess, since I can just click on a cursor file to change it. I downloaded CursorFX directly from the website, so as long as that is the latest full release version, then that's what I have. I still don't kno
Ok, so I did what you said Seabass. So how do I change to a different cursor or even view all of the ones I have downloaded? With CursorXP there was an extra tab in the Mouse Properties, but not with CursorFX, or at least on mine there isn't. When I try to open the program through the Start menu, an error pops up that says it has encountered a problem and needs to close. Is this because it's still in beta there are bugs in it yet? If that's the case and I am unable to view o
