Hi all, I responded under the vista post, but I am running vista with a nvidia 7950gt card and was having the same lock up problems. As was suggested by someone else, I downloaded the updated drivers at nvidia's website from nov 07 and now I no longer have any probs. So if you're running vista with a nvidia card try that.

Hi there, Thanks for the nvidia driver tip. I just updated my 7950GT card for my desktop with the Nov 07 driver update from the nvidia website and now the game is running great! Not one lock up with the turn button in many many hours of play using the largest map.

Mine does it on any size map. Just got the game and this really sucks.
