It is possible, but you'll have to do all of the work yourself. :)

I use "hide in background when not in use." I have a bottom dock, a top tabbed dock, and a side dock which is used as a system tray. The delay to bring the dock back is set fairly short, and my side system tray dock is set to only activate when it is clicked on. Using only top and bottom docks has kept them out of my way, and I run all of my programs with maximized windows. No complaints!

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but have you tried right clicking on the icon, choosing properties, then "change icon"? Doing this will allow you to browse and choose.

I am running WinXP, and I ran into this same problem. I fixed it by going to this site: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/expert/honeycutt_02september16.mspx Scroll down to "Add Recycle Bin to Folder Options" and follow the instructions. This is a great option as it allows you to edit the registry to give you the choice in the folder options of showing/hiding the recycle bin.

Very strange. I use Firefox exclusively and have never had a problem. Maybe you could try a shortcut to start Firefox.exe instead of the default internet docklet.

Try this: Remove any OD shortcuts from your start up folder. Instead, go to the ObjectDock Properties dialog box, under the "General" tab, and check the box for "Load ObjectDock at startup". I once had this same problem, and I have known a few others to have it too (all on xp). The reason this was happening to all of us was because the checkbox in the dialog was checked AND there was a shortcut in the start up folder. If you do one or the other, you should be fine.

Reply to Leopard Dock doesn't look like preview in Docks WinCustomize Forums

By looking at your screen shot, It would appear that you may have the "stretch background proportionally" check box checked. This check box appears on the "appearance" tab in the configure dock dialog. I downloaded that particular Leopard dock and checked this box, and I appeared to have a similar problem. I have always used my Leopard dock with this check box left unchecked. Hope this helps.

[/quote] See reply # 12-17 (especialy 17). :) The top dock "position on screen" must be set to top. For some reason, I have experienced top docks having a default setting of bottom screen position. Like I said above: Go Figure!

My wife got me a Logitek pc game controller and Lego Starwars. I know; I'm a little behind times, but hey! It's still fun! We got our boys light sabers-but I guess those are not really tech gifts, seeing as they are just plastic. Now these would count as tech gifts if they were the real thing! ;)
