...So is there no solution to this, or what?

Hey, I know this question has been asked before on these forums but after searching I couldn't find a definitive answer. I have an autohiding dock at the bottom of my screen. The attention effect is set to "bounce," but I can't actually see the effect unless the dock is showing. Is there a way to configure this thing so that when the attention effect goes off, I can actually see it? Without disabling autohide. [edit] I'm running WinXP Pro 32-bit, and my desktop resolution is 16
