So, I forgot that I have Winaero Tweaker installed on my PC. I reverted all settings that have anything to do with the look of Windows. Then, I cleaned up my cache, thumbnails, and other junk and rebooted. Since then, I have not had any issues with Curtains beta 4, which is excellent. It's certainly possible that some of the Winaero settings interfered with Curtains.

Interestingly, Curtains were not part of the Object Desktop package installer when I was installing the OD apps. It took two days for it to show up for me. I didn't know it exists! Hi Sean, I can assure you that this is the case. However, since I use my workstation for work, I cannot reinstall an app with compatibility issues. I don't have the time to do so, but Windows Blinds does not work correctly with Firefox if it's part of Windows 10 version 1909. I can't speak for other versions of Windows. Hi. I did exclude it, along with Chrome, but it didn't fix the issue. Only uninstalling Windows Blinds works for me.
Hello. Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. After some experimenting, I found that Windows Blinds is the culprit. It was the second app I uninstalled after Tiles and Firefox went back to normal! Also, Curtains came up in my Stardock "launcher" for OD, and I am using it without any issues. Curtains are a better app, IMHO, than Windows Blinds is. Everything seems to be working now without problems!
Howdy folks. After many years, I came back to Stardock desktop tweaking and goodies. My only issue so far is that since installation Firefox is performing exceptionally sluggishly. There were no other application installations for a few days, and Firefox was working correctly up to the installation of OD. My first thought is that OD somehow interferes with a DX call of some kind. I took off hardware acceleration in Firefox, but it made no difference. Next, I did a full browser refresh
