Hello everyone, thanks for the replies. i'm running 32bit Vista Ultimate SP1 on a laptop pc with 2 gigs of ram. I am using Objectdock Plus. My video card is ATI Radeon Xpress Series 8.421.0.0 . I clicked on the update driver button, but it says that I have the lastest driver. Anything else you need to know? I love the dreamscenes, but I love Objectdock even more. I would love to be able to run both though.
Perhaps, all I can think the problem could be, is that it crashed because I was moving the tab while the dreamscene was playing. I got the blue screen and the computer restarted. I have ATI radeon graphics on Vista Ultimate running on a laptop computer with 2gigs of ram. Has anyone else had this problem, if so, were you able to fix it? Grizzkarizz
I have had absolutely no problems, and am using WB6. I still have the transparency and blurring, so maybe they had some other problems. I am using a skin that isn't on WindowBlinds though, a secondary skin called XPCristal-Edition that looks almost exactly like Vista (I'm on XP of course), so maybe that's why I can get away with it. Who knows?? I will post if I find problems.
answered my own question. Did google it, and found a very good start menu, try googling vistart. Sebon!
I started the computer up again, and the text is still gone. It worked very well. Thanks everyone for you suggestions and help. Very much appreciated.
This worked very well, the patch I mean. I have read some post saying that when the computer restarts the text returns. I am watching the cricket at the moment, so when that finishes I will restart and let you all know how it goes. I have made a back up of explorer just incase.

I was talking about the bottom bar of the start panel, and I did have a look at some other skins to see how they go, but it seems that because I have XP, I can't get rid of the text. Particularly Nuage Redux. It has a XP and Vista skin, I tried loading the Vista skin, but the text was still visible. For the Log Off and Shut down screens however it is possible to get rid of the text. Does anyone know if there is a way to get hide the text in the b
I'm hoping someone could tell me how to remove the Log off and Turn off computer text so I can just have the icon. I am editing xp-cristalediton by avid skin. The problem is that the text is there, so it doesn't fit. Any help would be appreciated.
There were two iprepair.dll files and a file called just iprepair. I changed the two iprepair.dll files to iprepair.dll.bak. Is that ok??
Exactly, what do you change to iprepair.dll? I had the same problem with explorer, I even installed xp from scratch again because I couldn't think of what could be wrong, I searched all over the internet and thanks to this page I didn't have to install xp again! Phew!! However I am stuck with the normal xp icons until I can find a solution.. So exactly what do I have to change to make iconpackager stop messing with my computer?? Any help is greatly appreciated... <
