I found a pretty good workaround for my tab problem. Possibly it's a timing issue when OD starts up with everything else during Vista startup. I downloaded a startup delay program and put a one minute delay on OD. It's possible a shorter delay will work for me. I'll test that out eventually. I am using the beta version of the program. I just installed IP on my Vista box and can confirm that the Internet and Mail icons go missing once you install an icon package.
