Can you please update the online changelog to explain what is different in 1.40.1 from 1.40? I have updated our machines to 1.40 pending the 'Windows 8.1 Update' and now I don't know if I need to update them all again to 1.40.1 before the Windows 8.1 Updates proceed.
It works fine for me. You could try installing the 1.17 beta and see if that helps. Or uninstall and re-install 1.16.
Totally agree. ModernMix + Start8 together make Windows 8 into a grown-up desktop OS. MS should have bought these two products and put them into Windows 8. Still for a very modest cost we can do what they should have done...
The random wallpaper changing doesn't work for me in WB 6 beta 22. I use random wallpaper settings with only a few wallpapers selected, and set to change every hour. This worked fine with WB5.5 but now when the change comes it just switches to a grey background. Any ideas?
Not sure for TightVNC which I stopped using a while ago. I now use UltraVNC and this has a server option to enable Alpha Transparency Blending, this is needed with WindowsBlinds and semi-transparent window borders, so it might help you. Maybe TightVNC has the same thing, if not then try UltraVNC (its free like TightVNC).
