Thanks for the response! Much appreciated! I found, and have been using the KLite solution for quite a while, now... It works really well. I did try to run Blue Plasma without it a few weeks ago, after updating to Windows 11, and found that it worked until I restarted the computer. I then reinstalled the KLite codec pack. I will download a fresh Blue Plasma dream, and see if that works without the KLite codec pack.

Blue Plasma has been my background since 2008/2009, with the only interruptions being when technical difficulties have presented themselves. One of those has been the need for an MPEG 2 codec, which is no longer included in Windows. Perhaps MPEG 2 can be baked in, along with the upgrade to 4k? Seriously, Blue Plasma in 4k will be epic!!! Can anyone (with vastly more technical prowess than I possess) upgrade the Blue Plasma Dream either from the original or the HD version to 4k? I have been a fan of Blue Plasma since it debuted, and now would love to see it on my desktop in full 4k glory!!!
