I've got an M11xR2 (Core i7 640UM @ 1.2GHz, 4GB, 335M) It appears to run fine for me, granted my proc is a bit better. I had to use patched drivers (257.21) so that I could program with CUDA on the system. You could try to install the most updated nvidia drivers you can find. Not the Dell ones though, they are usually behind the times. You'd probably have to get some patched ones too, but I'm not sure, I did it a while ago. &nb
I'm very curious why 99% of the people that frequent this forum are decidedly anti-science. That seems to be all I ever see: "just a theory" this or some scientific topic is a "religion", etc. I know there is rampant scientific ignorance in the US and luckily the only people that hear the worthless opinions that come out of this forum are the people that have those worthless opinions. As someone who actually does research I'm saddened whenever I see how ignorant people act
Great generalization Draginol. (I could say the same thing about conservatives too, fact is not everyone is the same, which you imply) I have a major problem with the intolerant views stuff (#3), most religious people are on the conservative side and I'll be damned if they aren't the most intolerant people I know
I guess what most people want is that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Prices are going to continue to rise in every category regardless of minimum wage increase, and leaving the poorest people behind will only make them poorer. Min wage in the state I live in 5.15 (Wyoming, based off of that link KarmaGirl). I guess I'm just an optimist, if paying more money to people who need it more than I do costs me some of my wealth, howev
I was thinking the same thing JeremyG, the cheapest apartments where I live are about $500+electricity, and they are University housing and have a 6-9 month waiting list (because they are so cheap). Same with the car payment, in essence you would have to lease a car if you lived this way because you could never save enough money to buy a $5000 used one...unless you took out a loan. Anyway my point is, I'm glad, shouldn't it be the goal of tho
I suppose I did kind of come in with a bang to this discussion I agree with you guy, every theory needs to be questioned, that is how we progress, but passing judgment on it before it even has a chance to play out not something that we can allow ourselves to do. And that is what some people here have done, I say let it play out before deciding if it is correct and for atmospheric science that can
I've read a lot of the global warming posts here and I seem to have found something very interesting about the people that yell that global warming doesn't exist. I'm not saying that I think that what the left says about it is true (you could call a average global temperature increase "Global Warming" if you want). so I plan to play devil's advocate for a moment: What I find interesting is the evidence that is being used to discount it all, stuff like a prediction of
That's why I only watch BBC News, the rest suck
I have no idea why Bush is pushing the bill so hard, it doesn't make any sense.
The definition (according to encyclopedia birtanica) is as follows: civil-rights movement that advocates equal rights for gay men, lesbians, bisexuals, and transsexuals; seeks to eliminate sodomy laws barring homosexual acts between consenting adults; and calls for an end to discrimination against gay men and lesbians in employment, credit lending, housing, public accommodations, and other areas of life. I think the big openendedness
I just got office 2007 upgrade from my school and wondered if anyone else has used OneNote in this version or the 2003 version. It seems cool, and may help me take notes in non-math classes. Also has anyone used it with a usb tablet, if so how is it (especially on a 4x5)? -thanks
I like the list, I had a guy sitting next to me and my wife during service last month, he had obviously not been to church in a while, or ever for that matter. He asked me why "Palms" were in the bible. I was lucky I didn't start laughing out loud, i corrected him nicely but still it was pretty funny, classic, but funny.
lol, i do agree with the asshole part sky, but hey aren't we all? where did flayed one say that thing about regular guys, i can't find it, lol he seems just as much an idiot as the guys who were planning to blow up jfk
