I was just in the 2 chat rooms. One of them even showed 38 people in the room. Not a single soul was chatting, and not a single soul would respond. I even yelled "FIRE" and no one stirred. Is that like some sort of crypt? Is that where the dead players go? Are those real people, or just placeholders? Fodder to puff up numbers?
Every time I launch Impulse: 1. It Loads 2. Without asking it stops loading. 3. It downloads an update. 4. It installs an update 5. It loads again. 6. Finally I get to go where I want to. Who programed this abomination? Who is authorizing its design? I sit 5 minutes just to do a 30 second check of something. I have yet to EVER launch this thing, without it ever NOT updating and downloading and stalling around. It's so bad
Unfortunately this board is broken. The forum post button disappears in the other forums and prevents people from being able to post. This is a great idea, and I hope it is successful for Stardock.
This is the first thinking move by software publishers since the TRS-80. I wholly applaud Stardock for this, and hope they can convince others to follow. Stardock, unlike the abomination STEAM, actually provides a value added service to the customer, while assisting developers in protecting their software rights. I have been getting constant "Div 0" errors with the Fences free edition. Is this specific to the free edition? The problem got so bad I have had to remove it. I use this for XP Pro and use WindowBlinds with simple unanimated themes. Are there known bugs or anything I might look at to get it going? Does the paid version have similar probs?
