My sovereign levels up exclusively with essence. I imbue my champions as fast as I can. They all adventure together in a super stack and level up quickly. Each of my champions with essence spends their xp on essence. Each of my champions without essence spend their xp on intelligence. It does not take long to raise a dozen farmers to 18 essence when you are ropeadopping your neighbors sovereign and crushing wandering monsters/completing quests.

Hon. Wargamers; I have been experimenting with imbuing my champions. Me and 11 of my closest friends have been wandering the wastes. We are all channelers. By imbuing everything I can get my hands on I have been left with 3 essence while my proteges are hovering around 12. With my 15 charisma I have been vacuuming up farmers and other unskilled labor and turning them into channellers. As we adventure together, we power level fairly quickly.

Hon. Wargamers; I just played a game in which I located and recruited 6 champions. When my imbue champion spell was researched, I then began to imbue each hero in turn. I imbued 5 hero's in this manner. When I lost my last bit of essence, I was unable to imbue my last hero. I leveled up for the first time in a battle with wolves. I was not able to use my experience point to increase my essence for my channeler. I did not have a wisdom

Hon. Wargamers; I am a lot happier with Elemental now. I want it to be fixed, moded, and polished over the years. Please don't make it so efficient that Alexander, Ceasar, Napoleon, and Mary Ann are the only ones who can beat it in a straight play through on normal. :) This is a good game that could only have come from a programer/publishers love for the game. Hon. Wargamers; The 1.06 update has made the game playable for me. My battles no longer freeze up on fluffy white blank screens. My main screen will scroll properly and will respond crisply to my click and drag. The sword and shield icon labeled "hit points" is a button. This button leads to your character equipment management screen. Right next to that is a big round portrait of the highlighted unit that leads to a concise character sheet for your alter ego. What a short circuiting mental block that was for me. I "knew" the sword crossed shield icon was labeled "Hit Points" I knew the big round character portrait led to my character sheet. <

Well I played through a small game. I have had many false starts in the last two days. The game has crashed, frozen on battle screens, and slows to a crawl after the third turn or so. Please fix this game.

In a natiown without metal, transports are greyed out on your unit build screen and easy to overlook. metal is important and all of my neighbors need it just as badly as I do. The manual that came with the cd and the PDF manual do not address the instructions on how to use essence. Where is the essence button? The video tutorial clearly shows that you can burn essence to better your land. It does not show how to do this.
