Hi, how do I ensure that the default z-order for gadgets is "Always on top"? I doesn't matter at all what state the object/widget has - as soon as I export it as gadget it changes to "normal." Problem here is that the last active state seems to be stored in the registry - so I thought I had fixed the problem already, but it was simply using an old value. If I change the id of the gadget it will be "normal" again. If this can't be done - is there a way to use t

What do I have to do to make my exported exe work like the gadget inside desktopX? Here are a few examples of the problems I am having: Double clicking the gadget closes it. It likes to disappear randomly Changing its properties via the properties menu closes it after clicking OK Changing transparency or Hue randomly crashes the gadget It doesn't use the settings defined in desktop x as defaults for the generated gadget. Are there any additional requir
Can anybody confirm this problem? Is this a DesktopX bug, or am I doing something wrong?
It consists of two objects, a background object hosting the frame and the scripts, and a 2nd object on top to display a status image. Both objects are set to be always on top. I realized that I shouldn't specify any shadow / glow info, because this seems to mess up the preferences of the resulting exe But how do I ensure that the default display order is always on top?
Hi, I just bough DesktopX pro and exported my first widget as a gadget. Everything seems to work fine besides these issues: - the new application ignores the "always on top" of the frame it was created from - in the settings, the "shadow" check box is not checked, but the application has a shadow (as specified by the frame the gadget was created from) If I change the application z-order to always on top after the export it works fine, but it should really be AOT /o any
Well, I want Pro to write a simple standalone gadget The other app that looks interesting enough to buy it would be SkinStudio. Some other stuff in the ObjectDesktop pack also looks nice but not nice enough to purchase them. Right now I'd buy DesktopX pro, and ignore ObjectDesktop / SkinStudio mainly because they're just nice to have apps, while DesktopX is the application I act
Hm, and there is no upgrade or something? I know the ObjectDesktop price is pretty good, but somehow it feels strange that I can't "upgrade" to ObjectDesktop from The "Pro" version of DesktopX. Is there a way to upgrade from standard (as in ObjectDektop) to pro? The point is: I want two programs that are part of ObjectDesktop. So, in theory getting the complete ObjectDesktop would be the best deal for me. But if I have to buy Pro again, I'd kinda feel stupid, because I'd ha
Hello, I'm interested in DesktopX Pro and I was wondering how it's connected with ObjectDesktop? I know that the standard version is a part of ObjectDesktop. Does this mean that a DesktopX Pro licence includes ObjectDesktop as well? I checked the FAQ, but this question isn't answered there. Thanks in advance, Funkelhand
