Yes sorry im late to this. DS8 contains an exe called "Dreamtasks" which can accomplish this and it accepts a basic syntax of Dreamtasks.exe path/to/wallpaper Ive been using it for years.

Oh wow. Thank you! @AzDude I mean dreams that allow you to customize with your own images, while having an effect laid right on top. I know we have the "Snow" effect... however the dream "Winter Snow" is far superior with its snowfall (and customization; you can select the amount\size\speed\melting speed of the flakes). You can even combine the 2 for an extreme snowfall. I love your dreams and if you could make rain or fog happen they would be immediate purchases.

you use behind it? "Water dream" is another example where you can change the picture underneath the waves. Are there other dreams like this? Been using this software for over a decade now and my most used dream is "Winter Snow" because you can make anything a "snowscape." Is there any dream that has something like rain? Or drops on the screen? Or fog? I guess rain would be my number 1.

If you look at my post history you can see I had it refunded a long time ago and stuck with 8, due to all sorts of problems 10 vs 8. Im trying to figure out if this stuff was ever fixed? I would like to upgrade 8 but it has to be rock solid. 8 is rock solid.

I would give anything for something like that. 50 bucks no problem. Its surprising that something like that doesnt exist. +1 to this or something like it. That would be a permanent change.

The program is just not stable. Issues applying effects. Freezing. Not freezing when fullscreen. No right click. Doesnt change and if it does, its still frozen. I had 8, and it was perfect. I thought hey "10 has some extra effects hey cool" but there is far more going on apparently. I have had it a week (give or take a day) and would like my money back so I can just stick with 8. Please provide me a link to expedite this. Thanks!
