I am the one & only user of this pc. Sign out, Switch User & Lock is 100% not necessary. And on hibernate - I prefer sleep mode. I can’t be the only person who has no need for these options. I had Start 11 version 1 and shocked v2 not improved. Hope I don’t have to wait for 3 for those 3 items to be removed. Now using OpenShell. And yes, my power off menu button only shows: shut down, restart, & sleep. So we know it’s doable.

not happy. Glad only $14 down the drain. I’ll try Classic Shell. take care
Right now using the Modern Style
Pelaird - thx for the registry settings. What about Switch User & Sign Out. Will the registry show those 2 as well?
Windows 11 H2 2025 Start 11 v2 ( which ever is latest - I’m responding from my iPad)
How do I remove Switch user, signout, lock & Hibernate? Start 11 v2.56
Thank you. Much appreciated.
v 1.1 Any way to remove the "switch user" and "signout" from the shut down button? Being a single user have no need for either of the two and looking to clean up the shut down button.
thanks - thats it.
Eri - where in control panel / administrator will I find the settings to remove Switch User & Sign Out?
thx. I created a Microsoft Office folder (its below Music) - but was hoping it would be on the left side, with my other programs. I could have sworn I did this on another PC running Start10.
So, then I’ll have 2 folders - that seems a bit counter productive. I guess I’ll create a folder on my desk top and leave it at that.
Windows 10 and Start10 1.6 Can I add Folders and then move items/programs into a folder?
Have version 1.6 Is there a way to hide or remove Switch User & Sign Out from the Shut Down option?
