Is there a way to hide or remove Switch User & Sign Out from the Shut Down option?
None that I know off, except if you have windowblinds installed and use windowblinds style that have the shutdown button and switch-user buttons transparent. Never really try it but I think that would work. Just that if someone click on that area where there suppose to be shutdown-button it will still act as a normal button.

If you want to shut down your PC or the laptop, you have many ways to do it. You can go to the windows icon on left side corner, left click on it and there will be an option for shut down. Apart from that, Alt+F4 will be the shortcut key to shut down. More information is available on http://collegeresearchpapersonline.blogspot.com/
The switch user and shut down option are available for the different users. By clicking on them we can change our user. If you want to remove this you have to go control panel and then administrator, there will you find settings to remove it.
Eri - where in control panel / administrator will I find the settings to remove Switch User & Sign Out?
