I'm getting the same issue. Figured WindowFX 3 was out and tested long enough to upgrade from WindowFX 2.2. No shadows on Start Menu or Favorites menu upon bootup - instantly disappointed. Installed latest beta of WindowFX 3 from Stardock Central hoping it would fix this issue -- no dice. Finally, dropped back to WindowFX 2.2 for shadows and using YzShadow for menu transparency and fade (which always seemed to work better than WindowFX despite being software dependent) and everything
