I've had a look at some of the other blogs on JoeUser, and I'm impressed. You people talk in a way I can barely grasp, about things I won't care about until actual maturity hits me and I buy my first washing-up bowl, or I get beaten up badly or something (I haven't yet, but give it time). I feel kind of small, intellectually, and I am doing well at school. At least, I hope I am. But sometimes, I come across a blog that does make an outrageous statement, or comments on a controversial

Yes, for us brits, it's the summer holidays. So if you're British, and are below 16 or have the summer holidays anyway, enjoy them! Or, just enjoy the summer. Unless you're in a different season. In which case have a good whatever season- Argh, now my head hurts. I'm going to go lie down.
Yeah, I saw that. I still play and love the game, though, but I watched for the laughs. I ussualy watch for the laughs, but sometimes he does bring up a valid point.
So, I went on a school trip to the Globe Theatre yesterday to see The Merry Wives of Windsor. We went at about 9 in the morning, and came back at about 10 past 9 at night. Was it worth it? Yes - the performance was brilliant. The "ye olde" language is easy to vaguely understand, and you will at least know all of the main characters by Act 2, but that pervious set of words sounds trite and pessimistic. The play was done with such energy and charisma, I thought one or two might explode.
Seriously. I don't have anything to blog. I just had a weird compulsion to write somethig, but I had nothing to write about. Weird. Am I ill or something? Oh, right, Super Smash Bros Brawl. It's out in the U.K. It's good, but a bit too easy and anyone that's not Sonic or Snake is too easy to unlock via a non-campaign unlock. Captain Obvious signing off.
Wow. Not only have I screwed up, but I've started an intellectual conversation. Go me? I guess I'll leave you guys alone. Thanks for the advice.
The best I got was 1) Does anyone care about DRM 2) Has anyone campaigned against SPORE? I am interested in people who don't like it based on their creationism views. 3) What computer should I build since I want to play PC games Am I close???
Spot on, my friend. I did say PC stuff at the top. And let me ramble, o.k.? I don't want someone I don't know telling me what to do.
You lie, my mother doesn't have a blog. Oh, and I'm 15. I'm pretty sure child labour is illegal in the UK. Am I missing something?
So, some PC stuff. I read a claim here that the Spore Creature Creator Demo has SecuROM on it, which does an ET when you're connected to the internet. There have been problems with this in the past, mostly from Starforce published games. My response is... So? The thing runs fine on my laptop, even though it is a bit slow. Major kudos to EA/Maxis for doing that. I couldn't care
Oh, good. :D Upgradable teleporters sounds nice, although what you upgrade is a guess. Recharge speed? They'll have to make 'em bigger targets to offset that bonus, I think
I was a bit confused about your article until I found out you actually play the console version of the game.
Huzzah! 5-degree chunks of circular motion for all! :CONGRAT:
I play the PC version of the game, and as you probably already know our version has been patched ALOT more than your console version has (which isn't Valve's fault, its the stringent requirements Microsoft and Sony impose on updates
I hate Demomen. I HATE Demomen. With a capital HATE. I have nothing against the black, scottish cyclops himself (or indeed, any black scottish people anywhere). The character makes me laugh out loud ("Bloody brilliant!" he spouts after blowing me up for the fifth time). I hate the fact that everyone but me is good with him. Every other Demoman, mostly on the enemy team, has what can only be described as skills. They litter the area with stickies to murder
In case you don't know, the Spore Creature Creator is out. I'm not going to talk about the details of this, so go here. My brother got the free version, and wants to buy the full one. He thinks it's brilliant, even with so few parts, and I agree - it's damn flexible, and Pendact has some examples of the monstrosities he's created on his blog. <br
So, yeah, my last blog died. Simply because I forgot. I don't have time to mess around with stuff like that all the time. If you're reading this, I got Scribefire for Firefox, and it's working. So now I can blog whenever I want, especially if I want to rant about something on the net or point you to something funny, and also to make it easier for me to blog. Anyone who has a blog and Firefox should try Scribefire. Damn useful. So, back to the blog. I'll post mostly on gamin
Ok., so I appear to be able to access the council and create news, lke a mod. Have I been upgraded, or is this a terrible bug that should be fixed now? I don't work at Stardock - I'm still at school! What's going on?
This seems like the thread to mention it - is it just me, or are the tanks doing NOTHING? Every time I invade or get invaded, all but one tank gets destroyed, and they don't even shoot - they just... toddle along, waving their silly crane/guns in the air until they blow up. Why aren't they shooting? So, yeah, Stardock needs to improve on their ground combat. Different models for different civs, maybe some evidence in the background of your invasion tactic you used on the planet (e.g. cr
Well, this is *bleep* insane! Do you know who you are arguing with, Andir? FROGBOY! Frogboy is Stardock. He runs the whole thing! If he says it's not DRM, it's not DRM. DRM is when you install 1.0 of a game and it requires you to put in a serial number, credit card number (for MMORPG's) and other private information, or no go. Stardock Central just asks for serial and email address, and only when you update. It does not ask for private informtion in any way. If you're so steamed
Well Done on this guide, although creating the custom race was a little more... in depth... than I would have liked. However, I liked the changing music part, so I'm gona find some musice to replace the main menu music.
Good so far! Keep it up, and you'll do half at the rate you're going.
I wait expectantly for this guide. It has been hard for me to adjust to the madness of the new enviroments. "What? A Toxic world at class 17?!? AAAAARGH!"
You're not alone...I haven't heard a word yet either. I checked with support and they say there are no tickets in the system for the email address on your forum account. Did you use a different email to contact support? That's because it's sorted! Great game, BTW. I just feel that the dowlnlo
It's Monday now, and I haven't recieved a word from support as of yet. Lazy Stardock...
My take on Orbital Bombardment: Point 1) Only Medium or higher-sized ships can preform Orbital Bombardment. Point 2) You cannot attack a planet if there are ships in orbit. How it works: -A fleet moves next to a planet. You choose yes when asked if you want to bombard. a) Expend all move point b) If there are defending ships, you fight them instead. You do not get the option of bombarding otherwise. c) Invasion Transports may invade at this stage.
Interesting writing style, but I would prefer more images, as I'm an image person. Nice ship designs, too. Do you use Dread Lords or Dark Avatar?
I want a link.
