Fast Colonly ships right at the start of the game. One colony module, max engines, support in leftover spots to planet rush at the start. Fast Invasion ships; one troop module, max engines. When you get to warp III you can really invade fast once you wipe out the defending ships and clear a route. This was my second game (I have only had it for a week). My first game I made custom/evil and got my butt handed to me because there was only one other evil race, on the other side of the galaxy, and almost all the other races were good or leaning good. For my second try, I used Custom race again, on a large map, normal difficulty. I made them master traders, with more trade routes and more% from trade, leftover points into espionage. Would it be possible to give orders to a fleet or ship on how to engage enemy fleets? IE: Fire first at enemy ships based on hull size/attack value/defense value? Also, give orders to ships within a fleet to do things like Protect capital ships, evade combat, flee the parsec, engage enemy capital ships...

I just purchased the game and installed it. I also downloaded the 1.2 patch from my work computer, put it on a geek stick, and installed it. When I tried to start the game, It said I needed to register it. I dont have the net in my barracks, and cant hook up my personal PC to the military LAN to register. So I had to do the E mail register. I sent it in about an hour ago, and was wondering what the turn around time was to get my activation code or file sent back? Anyone know?
