Been playing a lot of Fallout 4... and then for some multiplayer fun LOL SCII Destiny and StarWars Battlefront.

Really like this post aswell. If the game is getting rebooted AND Stardock is not using the same races... then keeping the core of SC 2 gameplay mechanics with some of the lore and mechanics from SC 1 and an origin story for the terrans would be the best way forward. Explore the Galaxy and collect precursor artifacts to upgrade your ships or your ship components (ie. engines, weapon capacitors, shields or armor).
