you do not need to pay to play on windows live . the silver account is free. also if you already got xbox live then you are have windows live already . the login username and password are the same. the only way you would have to pay for the account is to get the gold account which alows you to play online against people. but you would not need to due to the games mp option being already added. so the whole argument of having to pay to play is moot. do a little research into what you complain abo

So I was thinking of my options for modding sins. what tools would i need to add : better planet textures(would textures from celestia work?) to change ship and planet stats(is this xml files?) to add custom portraits and race images . to change the tech tree.

I noticed that you have acheivments in this game. but i also noticed that there was no option to connect to windows live. will there be in the future a way to get acheivments added to my gamerscore on windows live?
