I know! But since I want to keep my sanity, I'm using LastPass now to manage my countless online passwords.

Thanks, I think I leave it at that, I don't want to over-complicate things. One of my other forum accounts got hacked, and since I was using the same password for other forums I had to go on a cleaning run. I therefore took the opportunity to delete some my 367574865 forum accounts I created centuries ago and rarely post in anymore. But well, with the upcoming GalCiv III I might get active in the forum again, even if I prefer to post in the Steam forums nowadays since I only need one acco
That's unfortunate. Is it at least possible to remove the forum part of the account? Since if I want to post I'll do it in the Steam forum in future. And I hate keeping dead accounts alive.
How can I delete my account? I can't seem to be able to do it via account options, so do I have to contact an admin (who)?
I'm probably asking against the trend with all the talk about 32 bit being dropped in favor of 64 bit which allows for gargantuan games with hundreds of races that take weeks or even months to finish. Unfortunately I don't have that time (and patience) and would prefer smaller and faster games. A good comparison would be CivIV FFH2 with quick tech on a small map. I can usually finish that in a one day single player or LAN session in about 150 - 200 turns. I can't research eve
No response is also a response. I guess that's a 'not possible' then...
Pretty much what the title says, it takes forever until the games shows the moving route of a unit with the counter how many turns it will take. Is there a way to skip the delay and get immediate response. It's incredibly annoying to always have to wait until the moving route of a unit is shown when hovering over the map. I tried reducing popup delay, but it didn't help.
1.) The tutorial doesn't seem to survive a reload. I saved a tutorial game yesterday since it was very late and today I've reloaded and there are no instructions anymore. I can continue to play, but the tutorial mode seems to be dead. 2.) There's Z-fighting in the trees (Triangles overlapping with same Z-position fighting to be drawn). The constant flickering is very annoying.
I agree with the trees. They look a bit like... icons instead of trees.
Already posted that in the other thread, but well... The new image looks much more crisp and sharp. Therefore objects and texture details are distinguished much easier. Further, the oversaturated colors are gone. The image is much more pleasing to the eyes and not as 'aggressive' as before. However, if some people really prefer the stronger colors from before, it might be a good idea to add a saturation slider to the graphic options.
Compliments for the work of your new art lead. The new screenshots look more crisp and don't seem to have the atrocious oversaturated colors of Fallen Enchantress. At least for me it's much more pleasing to the eyes and confirms my decision to wait for the expansion until I play it (I own the game but didn't play it yet). I couldn't find a release date yet. When will it be released? Spring? Summer? Autumn?
Currently there's a very interesting on GameSpy http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/crusader-kings-ii/1227292p1.html which kind of fits into the topic of this thread very good. (IMHO) It's pretty much about the big problems of TBS games in general with the tedious end games. Fallen Enchantress is also mentioned with a positive
FFH2 already has multiplayer, great modding abilities and pretty good graphics. I wouldn't have problems to play it in 10 years again. I don't think that a successor is required so fast. Besides that, a FFH3 that would be able to top FFH2 would be a very difficult task, since FFH2 is build up on an already excellent Civ4. And I'm not sure if I would buy a FFH3 without multiplayer if I can play FFH2 with multiplayer. Elemental went from 'bad' (Warlock) to 'avera
The art style of FE is not really my cup of tea to be honest. I don't have much problems with older 2D games (WBC3, AOW2, etc.) since they offer at least sharp and crisp textures. However, in FE everything I don't like in 3D engines is almost glorified. Everything is blurred and looks like it was washed with 200 degrees in the washing machine. No details anywhere to find and some very strange colors. I wanted to buy this game because I kind of owe it Kael for his amazing Fall
Is it possible to have an accelerated start scenario for other races than terrans? There are lot's of filler techs without any purpose which have to be researched before the first real weapon or shield tech is available. This... 1.) is highly unrealistic considering the fact that everybody is already flying around with space ships. At least some primitive rockets and/or auto cannons should be available. At the moment even WW2 was more advanced than GC2 a
I uninstalled everything and then tried to install everything via Impulse download. This finally worked. I first had empty buttons, but a restart solved this problem. The fonts were probably not loaded. Looks like Impulse can't cooperate with the disk versions too well...
Dominions 3 is definitely the king of deep strategy games. A really amazing game. There's no other game where you can play a monster kraken leading an underwater nation. Or summon a monster, make a commander out of it, then equip it with items dependent on how many heads, arms, legs, eyes, etc. it has, and finally make a wizard out of it who can compensate certain weaknesses like weak armor with spells. Now you've got a badass monster mage which is able to lead armies and/or co
