I've tried turning everything down to the bare minimum and the problem persists. It has been exceptionally bad today. The only time the game has not frozen in mid-play is during the very first match that I ever played, which lasted several hours without a single hiccup. Ever since then it has randomly frozen at some point. This is game would be so great were it not for this issue.

I still experience the random freezes that other people complain about, though. Any further wisdom on this would be appreciated.
I was looking forward to the 1.03 patch because I thought that this issue, which many players appear to be experiencing, would have been addressed by Stardock in some way. The FAQ is still blank on this particular issue, as well. My game continues to freeze sporadically, sometimes allowing me to play for hours on end, and other times freezing on the menu within the first five or so minutes.
