How is the availability of updates to multiplicity and keep safe for those of us who bought the suite going to be handled? When I purchased it updates would b e provided for X amount of time (1 year???) after all the apps in the suite went out of beta; obviously that condition is not going to happen now.

There's prominent text stating that fences is free for noncomericial use, but I can't find anything about how much it will cost if I want to use a copy at work.
Is there any indication of this fact in the UI? At first I thought it was buggy/busted and failing silently.
I'm running vista ultimate x64 and multiplicity pro 1.22 to manage 3 secondaries using the grid setup option. Changes made to the grid layout don't apply until I've restarted MPP on the primary.
synergy has an option to not minimize when you movea computer running a fullscreen DX app
First, where is the option to adjust the threshold speed? Second, I don't think that it's going to be able to do what I want, since the default isn't high enough to stop a high speed slew across multiple monitors, but is high enough to stop slower fine motion movements to bump back and then stop over something right on the edge.
Is there any way to put a 100 or 200pixel gap between displays belonging to different PCs? I'd like to avoid accidentally powering up the display on a mostly unattended PC every time my mouse moves towards the edge of the screen and overshoots slightly. The minimum speed threshold doesn't help because I regularly exceed it while sweeping my mouse across 2x1600x1200 displays.
This has spontaniously fixed itself. No idea what changed.
Since upgrading my secondary to VistaPremium SP1 when I move my mouse from my primaries desktop to the secondaries it won't turn the screen back on if it's been turned off for power saving reasons. The mouse cursor location does move past the edge of my primary and is presumably moving across the secondarys display. eg if I move the mouse 2 inches off the edge of my primary I have to move 2 inches back the other direction to recover the cursor on the primary.
If you're using a logitech mouse with setpoint buttons 4/5 are problematical. In V3.x they won't be shared to the secondary if on the primary any application that there was a canned special behavior profile (outlook, outlook express, word, powerpoint, excel, firefix) for the buttons defined. Deleting the special mappings won't help, setpoint still breaks multiplicity fro those apps. In setpoint 4.x the buttons are broken for all applications regardless of the existance of special profiles.<br
I want to be able to do this to avoid edge sensitive autoscrolling from activating when I switch away from a game.
Actually it seems I ca't drop setpoint as readily as I originally thought. Without it running I can't use the tilt ability of my scroll wheel to do horizontal scrolls. Unlike the low battery warning this is a major loss of functionality.
It looks like you're right about setpoint being to blame since multiplicity works as expected when it's unloaded. There are per app settings (for OE and common office apps), but even with them all deleted out none of the problem apps (most of which didn't have a custom setting to begin with) still eat the button 4/5 clicks. Fortunately the button reassignments persist without setpoint running, but I'm going to miss the battery helath update if I can't get any satisfaction out of logitech on th
Logitech MX610 (left handed). Setpoint software is running. Buttons 4/5 are set to the default values of forward/backward.
Both buttons do work with a few apps on the primary having focus but most either consume the click or loose it. Primary is XPpro, secondary VistaPremium32 Apps that pass the click to the secondary: Windows desktop (everything minimized) Opera IE6 Apps that consume clicks instead of passing them to the secondary: OE Explorer word07 Apps that eat 4/5th button clicks but are unable to use them: Mirc boinc manager winamp
I have a logitec MX610 mouse with volume control buttons (up/down/mute) in addition to the more common 5. Is there any posibility of these being sharable to secondary machines in the future?
I'm in the US and not seeing it, if you're somewhere else it doesn't seem likely it's country related.
Yes, tried both US1 and US2.
zubaz: tried that, didn't help.
Is the beta limited in the number of users allowed? I have show prerelease versions checked in SDC, but am still not seeing anything more recent than 1.20.
Since v1.2 was released on may 29th, is the current development target another windows update, or the mac version?
I have an XPpro primary, and VistaPrem secondary. If I play a DVD in media center on the secondary, afterwards I can no longer wake its screen up by mousing over. Instead I have to touch the keyboard or touchpad. Once I do that I can then mouse over to it using the mouse plugged into my primary.
I'm not sure if it's related or not, but yesterday the right arrow key on my primary became stuck down everywhere except on the ctr-alt-del screen. I ended up rebooting, but the one location where it wasn't happening should've clued be in that it was a problem with an application. My antivirus is Avast4.7 home edition.
I've tested this with 3 different games: GalCiv2, Hearts of Iron Doomsday, and Sword of the Stars: Born of Blood, and windows media player 10. All four applications exhibit the immediate failure when the primary starts running fullscreen, and a brief delay after closing the fullscreen application and 5th button support being restored while controlling the secondary.
This is happening to me consistantly. I start a fullscreen game and the forward/back buttons stop working on the secondary. A minute or two after I close the game (but not immediately) they resume. Primary is running XPpro. Secondary VistaPremium
