fourfives45 same thing here, i just lost the game to pirates, the main threat should be AI, but i was fighting pirates all game long :D anyway, thanks for the tips, i'll try to use them and win :O
what i should do to avoid pirates? because they attack me every 8minutes and when i kill them and they attack me again because it takes very long to destroy them... i can't do anything else but fight them. so, do they have some sort of base planet to wipe them out, or its impossible to avoid them... and how i can increase credits income rate? :P
well, in my games i do not have empty turns at all, dunno why :D
Now i'm playing the game on gigantic galaxy and i have about 25 planets. Its very hard to gradually distribute industrial planets (which builds ships fast and have alot of factories), research planets (only research factories) and economy planets. So i'm suggesting that we (players) would be able to put on the planets some sort of icons, because it takes about 10mins to look at each planet and decide whether it'll be industrial or research.:D

i forgot to mention that i play DA 1.8
When i try to load my last game i always get that "don't send" error. this happens when i try to load quicksave, autosave, and normal save, so i'm quite stuck :D Is it possible to fix this somehow? i think that the cause is that i sometimes minimize the game using windows button.
OMG! Updated Sound Track. New background music and scoring helps keep the game fresh and new. i like this VERY much :D

speaking about allies... AI rarely researches Alliances technology, that tech should have way higher priority
i play with tech trading on. yeah, i noticed also that AI rarely researches alliances
never seen in my life them forming an alliance :D i play on challenging, maybe AI is still too "stupid" on this level?

can AI form alliances with other AI? for example i'm terran and i formed alliance with torrian (good alignment). there are two other races yor and drengin. because they havent formed alliance i will win (2vs1vs). so the question is: can they form an alliance? it would be very cool if they could, because now the only way for AI to win is military victory...
torian in my games always rules :D i hate that green color which cover 50% of the map... and i play thalan ;) i think the most unbalanced thing is Evil.
but its more easy to win as evil... i also think that evil is overpowered or good is too weak
it would be good to see how long the game lasted (real hours) in High Scores menu. can AI form an alliance with other AI? for example terran signs alliance with torian federation and than attacks me because i'm evil?

i wouldnt say that they are always loosing, in the last game (tough) they were the dominating race (managed to beat Drengin). so i signed alliance with them and then we attacked Yor
in every game where Thalan plays i have very good relations with them. almost everytime i form alliace with them. i wonder why maybe our playstyle is similar or smth, because with other races relations varies from cool to good O.O
