Thanks. No complaints with Start8--longtime Stardock customer. Just my OCD compels me to format/reformat/reset the device until I get it "right." No disk imaging software or I'd image it once I got things to my liking.

I've hit my Start8 activations limit and need it reset (after zealously resetting a Surface Pro a couple dozen times) -- what is the current support turnaround time, just curious?
Looks like the most obvious answer/cause eluded me. The simple .ico file was not previewing/displaying in Explorer view properly except in Thumbnail view. The icons that WERE working (in DBPoweramp Music Converter) were using DLLs. http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/win2000/1113233817
this happens in the show/hide dialog: http://img88.imageshack.us/my.php?image=showhidenr7.gif
anyone know why my small icons for the games inside stardock have turned into the generic default icon? i find this happening to most of my icons in another program, dbpoweramp music converter. any suggestions?
