I never played GC1, what did they do and could they be implemented in GC2 somehow?

While looking through English.str, I have found several ship abilities that are never used. They are: [ShipAbilityStealth] Stealth [ShipAbilityDetStealth] Detect Stealth [ShipAbilityDockShips] Dock Ships [ShipAbilityDetonate] Detonate [ShipAbilityBombard] Bombard [ShipAbilityMissile] Missile [ShipAbilityVampire] Vampire [ShipAbilityHeal] Heal [ShipAbilityWraith] Wraith [ShipAbilityAntiWraith] Anti-Wraith [ShipAbilityStarbase] Starbase [ShipAbi
I want to make the minor races able to colonize again. Also, I want to see them in the United Planets (but with maybe 1/3 the voting power of a major race) and be able to spend espionage against them. How would I do this?
Try 10 Ultimate opponents on a Small map with abundant stars/planets/habitable planets. And yes, 10 opponents can be had; look in Data/English/screens and you should be able to figure it out.
I don't think I can get Dark Avatar now. I have no means of buying online. Bad move, Stardock.
I wish these two things would be redone. The pilots of the ships appear drunk/high/perhaps both and just fly around randomly. This could be vastly inproved, as well as the camera angles for space battles. And the planetary invasion scenes are comically bad. I know these things aren't really the point of the game but it severely takes away from the experience.
I would like to see a defense that would deal damage back to the attacker. Or perhaps a weapon like the ESG from Starfleet Command II.
I modded my game to have a Gigantic hull. I changed Huge Hull 2 into Gigantic Hull and added "Ultimate Hull Building" and "Gigantic Scale Building" to the techtree. Mine has 75 hp, a base cost of 220 and a size of 110 (the Huge has 50 hp, a base cost of 160 and a size of 80). The logistics for my mod are: Tiny=2, Small=3, Medium=4, Cargo=5, Large=6, Huge=7, Gigantic=8. But I would like to have 3 more ships for each race to be Gigantic. All I have done is prove that it can/will work.
On this note, can I make my ships come out of a planet differently? There are times when I would rather have them launch to the upper left than the lower right.
tatertot18. I think that the lack of scrolling is a huge problem that needs to be addressed ASAP.
For me the minor races don't. Maybe 1 in 8 of them try to build an empire. The others build 10 constructors that sit on their home planet and do nothing. Fix please...
Make a custom race and edit the raceconfig file to have ship type and module type = 5.
I have an idea. Let's have the basic buidings always available and add an upgrade button that will take a given structure to the next level.
Here are some general ideas I (and some others) have come up with: 1. We should be able to have habitable moons and colonize them. 2. Why do no planets have more than one moon? 3. Why can there only be 5 planets per star? 4. Why are the only habitable planets in the game around yellow stars? 5. There are not really green or purple stars (that we know of). 6. Where are neutron stars, black holes, quasars, etc.? 7. There should be a random event where a star can
I usually have a series of ships named for example "Warlock", "Warlock-A", "Warlock-B", etc.
Couldn't a planet theoretically go as high as Class 72?
Spheres of influence also need recalculation.
The Altarians seem to play similarly against the evil races, but somehow they don't get wiped out easily.
I found an artifact on a planet that increased each other class in the system by 8. SO it went from 12,5,0,0,0 to 13,12,8,8,8.
My race is evil and I have 4 allies out of 7 (counting minor races). My question is, how do I terminate an alliance?
The upgrade prices are ridiculous. It costs almost as much to upgrade as it does to build an entire new ship, and that is in need of fixing.
A surprise? Could it be...the DOOMSDAY MACHINE?
I have a production planet like that and it costs me about 120bc.
Are military starbases good for anything compared to economy and influence bases?
I never abandon anything, what is the point? You just lose resources.
