With regards to your question regarding the Master skins program, here's a post to bring you up to date: https://forums.stardock.com/521160/page/1/#3895743 As for new WBs, you were probably seeing a rotating presentation. I'll notify Stardock regarding that.

I'd hazard a guess and say there are probably residual files and registry entries. Perhaps using the purge .bat file will solve the problem. The Community Support Assistant will probably help.

Windowblinds can work well with some of the many other customizing apps...but not all, so there might not be a fix. With respect to WB and Open Shell, I did a search on duckduckgo...apparently there are and have been problems using them together . I wonder: If you exit Open Shell, does the problem disappear?

Unfortunately the Object Desktop app hasn't been fixed yet. The best way to check if you're current is to click on your icon in the band where email and thread subscriptions are at the top of this page and then > Downloads. Then, under Object Desktop, > click on View Individual Downloads and compare version numbers. Clunky but that's the best way atm.

I can confirm basj's reply. Neither Fences 3 nor 4 caused any noticable slowdown on my systems W10 and W11 machines. I've had all the versions of Fences, and they caused no perceptable slowdown, either on W7 and onward. You can check impact on your startup via task manager, but it won't check the effect of adding a monitor after startup as far as I know. Perhaps you should fill us in on exactly which version of which progam/programs aren't running? Also, your OS and version?
