Unqualified yes: You will be able to continue to use the latest version you updated to before your sub expired. BUT, you won't be entitled to updates without renewing your sub. Shortly before your sub expires download all your installers' latest version, and back them up to an external drive. Redundancy is your friend.

Yes, unless you're using a trial version. Also, after one year, you won't receive updates unless you renew, so if MS makes changes in its OS, Object Desktop may well become less functional. Make sure you download the latest installers before your subscription runs out, and back them up.
