Everyone else ducked the issue passing it on to others to mention, which certainly did the guy no favours. The methods of 1SG maybe seen as harsh by some, but self respect is a powerful motivator. Even the Platoon Sergeant (hopefully) learnt that with stripes comes responsibility, not just a bigger pay cheque, and whilst its sometimes

The other end of the equation is the sheer cost of these treatments. There is no way is any country ever going to be able to afford the "everyone gets everything free" concept, never happen. In UK we have had Universal Free Healthcare at point of delivery for 60 years, even with that general principle there is a growing acceptance that an element of payment is necessary, free healthcare under all situations is Utopia which cannot work. The very valid point re Insurance Company bottom l

oh and by the way if you don't regester your all chumps. and if you don't go and vote your voting for gene. Now thats just blackmail Meet a chump, I will only vote for a person if I believe they can represent my views, or at the very least the Party they represent will curb the loonies getting a free ride on the back of Party Agendas. "We will pay for the medical care deemed necessary to your health by a competent physician. We will pay for yearly checkups" You still get into the circular hassles, that statement holds assumptions to be true for it to be valid such as: Define medical care Define deemed to be necessary - and who is authorised to define it Define competent physician and by what standards is that judged, by whom and who changes it Define c

"because finally the "PEOPLE' have had enough of propaganda disguised as news" That I believe is the turning point, and I fully agree, it is happening more and more. I guess future hope rests on the fact that People will have realised that manipulation was endemic, and prompt the Press to move towards integrity once more if they want to keep their livelyhood. Politicians will not do it, too much vested interests, so they will have to join th

You will not if you are determined to find it, but you will if you dont look. You are right, there will always be wars yaddie yadda, to dream otherwise is just that, a dream, its very regretably in mankinds competitive nature. Instead of sleepness nights worrying about impending Armagedeon, sleep content that there are many good things in this world, you just dont get them reported. Crime is endemic in some areas thats for sur

Probably, but note the element of doubt. I use the term "Press" or "Free Press" to encompass all forms of media and information services now present in the modern age - not just the classic newspaper. The Press came from a Noble background of high principle and fighting good causes, every Democratic Country has its stories of journalistic daring do fighting evil and

I loath RTS, I want to use my brain not get into a speed contest with the dam thing - a little extreme expression but you get my drift. Love TBS. I am a Civ4 Refugee. I hear where you are coming from, I don’t deny there is bigotry around. You maybe right, I may be naive re Public Schools, time will tell I guess. If it turns out badly lets hope they do move quickly, If they don’t, then I reassess the whole thing in my mind, my reaction will be just as harsh sounding with them if I believe they havent moved properly. Meanwhile, that situation has no baring on the inequalities that may or may no
