since the climate data shows co2 levels lag temperature changes (I.e. Temps go down even when co2 levels stayed higher than normal) we can conclude that co2's ability to impact temperature is relatively weak. I don't disagree with anything you just wrote other than the straman you built to represent my argument.
You showed a plot which has a sharp peak in CO2 levels and argued that because we have not seen seen a similar pattern in worldwide temps, the two aren't significantly related. I point out that your whole argument is flawed because the world can&

Roughly 2/3 of that change has happened since 1980. Isn't this the number you are looking for? I assume that you don't want the CO2 specific number since you were chiding people for only consider
We've massively increased our CO2 in the atmosphere. However, worldwide temperatures have not remotely followed this. But it gets worse, IF temperature was heavily affected by CO2, we'd already be screwed beyond all recall. You'd need to decrease CO2 back down to less than 300 just to approach historical norms and there is no way that's going to happen. So be thankful that CO2 isn't a signific

Oh, and to people who want to see CO2 then temps go up: You generally can't see this because of time resolution. I'm still not a geologist, but I imagine that something like an ice core has a time resolution of years to decades to maybe even centuries. In other words, you can say that the atmospheric conditions on 3000BC +/- 10 years was X. There is fairly large uncertainty in what exact date you are looking at. But, the temperature responds to the
- The few seconds it takes for the enemy to jump out of the fog of war and kill you while you're split pushing is not the huge opportunity for your team to take objectives that you think it is. It was fun playing with you the other day, but it was interesting to hear you say "Well, we drew two of the other team's heavy hitters down to

Well, it looks like Riot has decided to delete Rammus. Thats nice. I mean, I realize that he had a high win %, but he had a really low play rate. But Riot just hates anybody who is capable of ganking right now (other than a select few champions that they like), so its time to delete Rammus. You can really tell what champions Riot likes and which ones they dont like. J4, Lee Sin, Renekton, Kass, are all allowed to sit in really high powered states forever and

Sigh, I love Comcast so much. I'm guessing that something at Comcast blew up. I was playing another game when my internet suddenly went from normal to complete crap. Did a bandwidth test and found I was getting less than 5% what I normally get. I wait a bit and try and fix some stuff but the problem doesn't seem to be on my end. Wait some more then try and call Comcast. I get the message that they are getting high call volume. I try and ta

The new jungle items are bad. That means that you probably don't want to buy them if you can avoid them, so Dorans blade starts if you can get away with it. This is especially true in organized play probably. If you can start Dorans and immediately go into non jungling items and they have to build even the best jungling item (Spirit of the Ancient Golem), you are still WAY ahead early. That means that you can simply group as a team early, and their jungler i

Well, this most recent set of changes to the jungle items mean that we now get a "who can solo the dragon the earliest" contest. I remember this game from season 1! Do you have any idea how early champions like WW and Udyr are now going to be able to solo dragon?
I don't think so, but we'll see.
In its current state, Relic Shield means that the Jungler role has effectively been deleted from even quasi competitive play. It just doesn't appear to be viable in ranked at the moment - trying to jungle in Diamond should probably be reportable. That can't wait for the regular patch cycle to to be fixed.

I have the day off so I've watched high level streams/commentary. Based on what Diamond players/Pro have been saying: Riot has tried to "fix" support and jungle. Right now, you don't play jungle in high level games at all and you don't play traditional supports. Both roles are dead. Go Riot. Relic Shield is simply a broken item that I assume will be hotfixed. Hopefully before the weekend. It basically makes jungling useless since

Taking Wriggles on WW never made sense since he doesn't farm the jungle after 6 (when he would actually be able to get a Wriggles). The whole point of playing WW is that his ult has a very short cooldown, so he ganks a lot and doesn't farm much at all once he hits 6. If you want to farm the jungle more after 6, play Vi (very similar, but with more early presence at the cost of a longer CD ult).

Well, its definitely a lot harder than the original, which is good (classic was too easy originally). Some of the missions can get pretty rough. Not to spoil anything, but there is a mission in Newfoundland that involves a whale that gets...rough. I drew that one on classic when I didn't have all laser weapons. It did not go well. I'm not having too much of a problem with EXALT missions since they don't do much damage.

Its just frustrating because I got screwed by the stupid system (that I hated in the first place). I won a fairly good percentage of my games. But I didn't win the right games - the promo series. And since I was getting troll/bad teams in promo games, I couldn't advance. Its a system that can screw people if they have bad luck in promo series, and Riot doesn't care. And I just got screwed all season by bad luck. If the system treated each ga

Well, lost promos again, which means I can't advance any more. Game 1 of Promos: They kill our nexus at 23 minutes. I go 3-1, rest of the team is 7-28 and openly incompetent. A diamond 1 jungler couldn't have carried them - completely unwinnable. Game 2 of Promos: Only winnable game of the day. We get a bit ahead and the guy who has been calling shots wants to baron. I don't really agree and make the mistake of not strongly calling it off. &

Riot LP system is so stupid. So after losing my 2 promo series to Plat, I get hardcore clamped at +5 for a win, -4 for losses (sometimes -5) for at least 40 games. I fight through that and get to about 95 LP, at which point it goes to +1 for wins, -3 or -4 for losses. I get up to 98, then fall all the way down to 88 on a losing streak. Then I play one final game for the night. Riot is finally like "Screw it, clamping is off, you get at least +12 LP, you are in

Split pushing and attempted 1v1 pickoffs are the #1 way to lose winnable ranked games. By far. I've seen so many winnable games lost because somebody decides to go split push and somebody else loses their mind and gets caught. Thats GG. You just can't trust 4 random teammates enough to do that consistently.
