Comcast did provide the splitter. I actually suspect that the problem is with the building wiring and that the splitter is just making it worse. Thats why I want them to come out and take a look at it instead of me just flipping in a new splitter. I'll probably just try a new splitter over the weekend to see what that does, but I do think that there are wiring issues as well.

Stupid Comcast - I'm back to where if I plug my modem directly into the wall, everything is great. But if I plug into the splitter, everything is laggy. I guess its not too bad since it isn't too hard to hook up the TV after using the internet for a bit, but it is still a pain (especially since it takes like an hour for the channel guide to load). It takes so long to actually get an appointment. They had better actually show this time.
God I hate Comcast. I had that previous lag issue with them where I discovered that if I hooked my modem directly into the wall, the connection was fine, but if I hooked it into the splitter, horrible lag. So I had to choose between TV and internet. I choose internet for the time being and scheduled an appointment a week in advance with them to get a technician to fix it when I got back from a trip. So I get back, take time off to make sure that I'm home...and
So, after some enjoyable calls with Comcast and some time messing around with various cables, it turns out that the problem with my connection was...the cable splitter. If the cable goes straight from the wall to my modem, everything is my great. If it goes through the splitter, terrible. So I get to choose between TV and internet until I get a new one. Oh well, at least it happened in ARAM.

Not sure if he wins all his placement if the system will jump him to plat or stick him somewhere in gold II or gold I. That Rammus game that I lost was mostly lost because we couldn't get on the same page on anything. For example, when that Udyr backdoored all the way to top inhib, Riven had said in chat that she was going to b to cover it (I think you can even see her start to blue pill). But then she aborted that and stayed for some mid push...that we aborted before we actually got their inhib. I would have covered it if Riven hadn't said she would have since I could have stalled U

The only jungler you could claim is much better than WW is Hecarim. Riot has "balanced" junglers by making it so that pretty much no standard jungler scales well with gold.
re: what you said overall, though, karl - I know we've talked about this briefly, but is there a reason you don't go deeper in your pool of junglers?
"Deep pool" is not a winning strategy for moving up in solo queue. Go look at high elo people, and you are going to see a lot of players who specialize in a few champions. That's the most general winning strategy - take a smallish set of champions that cover al
I think one of his main issues is that he plays junglers that have some hard counters. I remember he posted a game where he got fed as hell as WW and still lost. I thought to myself "That's not going to matter if they have a Lulu on the other team. Or their fed carry buys a QSS and he's playing a 2nd in champ like WW as an initiator cause his team doesn't have anyone else to do it."
Eh, I don't think that WW is
Well, there is no question that some roles are stronger than others for gaining ELO in solo queue. Mid is the strongest, then its ADC/top, then jungle, then support. Historically top has been stronger than ADC, but ADC might be stronger now since the role in general has been buffed above its historical baseline. A big part of the reason that I was gold for season I and much of season II is that I started ranked as a mostly mid/top player, which made ELO gaining easier. It
In case anybody is curious, I will be out of town for the next few days. Should be back Sunday.

One time I knew he used smite to steal my red like a jerk, so I went right back at him and stole his blue right in front of him and then ran like a bitch (a dragon bitch). Anyway, I think karls a good jungler and don't think I could have kept up with him as much without all the time I'v
Well the, I have now won 2 out of 15 promo series. Its pretty fun. 0/3 in the last one. No game was winnable. I won jungle very time. Often by a lot (started one game 5/0/8, still lost really badly). But I cant do anything when my team has multiple terrible players and their team is at least all mediocre. I can consistently carry 1 terrible player with ww, but they are giving me at least 2 every game. First game had first pick who insisted o
What is the point of AP Corki anyway? I mean, what does he do that makes up for all the weaknesses that the build has? If you just want poke and some escape, why don't you just play Ahri or Kass or something? You get some CC that way too. I suppose you have more split push power, but locking yourself into a very specific meta at champion select is not too smart in most situations. Plus, people try and split push WAY too much anyway.
With regards to teams: I'm fine with having captains picks. But, regardless of the method, people have to realize that stomps are going to happen a reasonable percentage of the time. I mean, if you look at reasonably even pro teams play a best of 3 series, a lot of times one team will stomp in one game, but the other team will win the next. LoL is just set up in a way such that a game with reasonably even teams can still be a stomp. I think that the oth

Every missed dragon after that did not have a heck of a lot to do with the initial heavy aggression towards towers. The FA
Back to the original topic: I think that they could do a better job with getting the word out to the major websites. IGN lists the release date as "TBD" and does not include Elemental on their list of upcoming games. That should really be addressed. Gamespot does correctly list the release date, but the preorder info lists it as a $70 game instead of a $50 dollar game since they are linking to the limited edition for some reason. This probably makes the gam
