Look if you have to ask about the Pink Space Ponies then you will never really understand the PSP. Just know: they are here to make the universe a better place and spread the power of the rainbow!

Lord Almighty Smacksim, did you just whip that up off the top of your head? lol Yes, though I haven't used it one could assume that on large maps during the late midgame or late game, it might be prudent to centralize the capital. I wonder how designating an asteroid as a your capital would change things...
What are the advantages other than organization for fleet formation? Are there any bonuses? Would a group of selected ships versus a selected fleet of the same ships perform any differently?
My investment in games likes these is the only thing keeping me on Windows....
And don't you know Micro$oft knows it too, lol That's why they've poured da big bucks into games, games development and platform development I've not tried WINE in Linux but I doubt that it will run well. You could try something like VMWare or the free VirtualBox but the game (or any game) will probably not run well. The game works quite well on a partitioned MAC (aka Bootcamp)
Thanks stanalonis!
Ah ok, yes that's what I'm asking... There are two researchable levels: but how long the senor probe lasts for the first researched level or the second researched level doesn't seem to be documented...
Added to the fact that these are large facilities, almost a city in space which could theoretically be much cheaper and easier to maintain in space...
What does this unlock? I can't find documentation anywhere about Level Two...
what are the controls for chatting with someone??
Yes it does, thanks ScourgeOfGod. What would really make this game have legs is to have a tool where users could create custom fleet skins. I know Brad had something like it for GC...
Hello, I'm new to this game and so far I've seen only two factions: TEC and Vasari. I've seen another mentioned as well. Will these be the only factions? It seems each factions has its own tech trees and ship design. Is faction creation/design for modders only? thanks!
Yes quite borkalicious. In fact, the tutorial is so whacked, I put off playing. Now I love the game and want to marry it.
Well I guess I'll have to do it,lol [link="http://www.mediafire.com/?50xmhw1wc9h"]TEC_Military.zip[/link]
Hello, I'd love to make suggestions but is there a key to the Tech tree or is there a manual? I've looked for it on my computer and on-line Thanks!
Nuts. I've disabled 'automatically restart' as you've suggessted Kryo and the computer crashed again, restarting without any BSOD! grrr.... I did look at the event viewer and saw a DCOM Error in the system log around the time of the crash: "The machine wide Default Launch and Activation security descriptor is invalid. It contains Access Control Entries with permissions that are invalid. The requested action was therefore not performed. This security permission can be corrected usi
The game does a hard crash, randomly, and the whole system reboots itself. There is a 5-10 lock-up, stuttering of music or sounds effects and then the system reboots itself. Then it does a system check to repair bad sectors. I didn't post the whole thing since there were no extra lines added after the crash. I made note of the number of lines in the code and no extra lines were added after rebooting from the crash. I also didn't see anything unusual in the log other than the fact th
Upfront: I'm on a dual boot MacBook Pro, partioned (of course), Windows XP. The video drive is a ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 and the driver for it has a stamp of 3/2/2006. I know this is not really supported but I thought I'd throw this out anyway... I tried using the SmartException program but when the system crashes it doesn't seem to log anything from the crash (?) I've got the latest drivers of BootCamp (1.1.2) and it looks like the same driver as before. I guess getting
As far as I can tell, the Metaverse login only works with IE on a Windows platform. It did not work on Firefox on either Windows or MAC OS X.
My idea is to allow for bonuses on placement of complimentary structures in adjacent tiles on planets. This would add a slight layer of strategy to an otherwise pure eye-candy exercise of structure placement (other than the random bonus tiles).
Ah ok Whillowhim ... Some of these techs are begging to be modded. LIke "near omniscience"... it would be cool if getting this tech gave a researc bonus
Has anyone used this ability in the game? 'm not sure I really understand this tech from the description in the game..
Yeah ChaosD really has an idea for the best implementation for carriers: add it as a modules then add some techs for pickets/def ++ and bombers/att ++ The HPs should be relatively low....
1. We turn the constructors into dinner plates and silverware and the colonists into lunch meats. 2. Please build as many farms as possible to make the colonists plump and juicy. 3. Every tech you develop should be made with one goal in mind: how can I grow fat colonists? 4. Don't worry about that, just grow your colony population. 5. Just build farms and keep it simple. 6. Spend as little time as possible except for strateger
