Ok so you basically need to set your primary to secondary before you leave? Is it just a toggle? I’ll have to check out AnyDesk for remote access. I use MS’s built in Quick Assist for helping family members. It’s pretty slick and even my non-technical parents are good at the “request help” side. But it probably doesn’t have the bells and whistles that AnyDesk has.

Thanks @nickotime for the info. I probably should have explained it better in what I was looking for so you didn't have to write out all of that (I definitely understand what you wrote as I work in IT) but you gave me some software ideas that I didn't know about. I haven't used a VPN since I had it on my Server 2012 VM at home years ago and prior to that I used free Teamviewer until that got bloated. And since I have Unraid on my server, I have yet to create a Windows Server VM for
So I’m curious with this and I haven’t found the answer. I am considering Multiplicity Pro as I need KVM but in my case if I am at home, I need access to my networked PCs. But let’s say I go on the road. If my home PC is locked, can I use my laptop then as a primary to connect to my ROG Ally. If I could connect back home that’s a plus. I thought this scenario was doable in 3 but it’s been so long since I used 3.
Any news on when it will be Win 11 ready? Crashes without notice for me when using the shortcut page.
What do you mean by Shortcut page? It's working in Win 11 for me. EDIT: Never mind. I'm using Tiles 2.
I enabled the combined options for the Taskbar and now my weather widget no longer shows the weather. It's just an icon. I turned off the option and Start 11 did force WinExplore to restart, however, my screen kept flashing like it was in a loop to restart and my taskbar icons disappeared. I tried rebooting which got it out of the loop, however the Widget is still not showing the weather. EDIT: Never mind. Took about ten minutes and then the weather showed up again.
I was wondering of an update to put the widget on the right. I don't know if this was a Stardock change with Start 11 or something MS did. Can you please let us know if that widget can be moved to the right like it used to be?
So curious as I'm no developer...with Win 10, what's the limitation of getting the Start Menu to move over to the center? Is it something that absolutely cannot be done or hasn't been found/programmed in yet? And yes, I understand it's a new feature in Win 11; I'm just fascinated in all the modifications Stardock has made to Windows over the years so was wondering if it could ever be done with Win 10.
Probably can't fix this as I still haven't figured out why my icons always rearranged themselves and move all the time on boot up but I assume it's related to the issue, but I have two 27 inch monitors and a 32 inch monitor with the same resolution (2560 x 1440). Almost daily, the tiles app docks on different monitors instead of staying on the far right one. It seems that the monitor "number" changes at every bootup rather than staying fixed to the one monitor I want it on. Is there any way I

Ok, I think I partially fixed it. When I applied it, Curtains didn't change the browser on my right monitor but when I moved it to the center, it adopted the theme. However, the Start button and the taskbar on both outside monitors are not the same as the theme on the center. I'll look through the settings in DisplayFusion and see what I can find. EDIT: Yup that was it. Apologies for the premature posting. I should have played with it some before posting. We're goo
Is there something preventing Curtains from applying to my left and right monitors from my center one? It works perfectly on the center but doesn't transition to the other two? The only thing I can think of that may be having issues with it is DisplayFusion Pro but that's running on the center monitor too.

Hundreds of turns is a "minimum" for me. ;) Distant Worlds is one game that comes to mind where I'll be in a SP vs. AI game for at least a month playing at lea

Ok, this is frustrating. I purchased a renewal for Object Desktop and after installing a bunch of programs, I activate using my email/password and it tells me they are activated but the trial/purchase/activation box still stays there. Furthermore, the Object Desktop Manager shows none of my programs in there yet I can see on my account that I have a subscriptions because it tells me that my subscription expires in 350+ days. Can someone look into this please? Thanks, Brian
I have taken care of yours as well gilly775. Sorry about the trouble.
Thanks for the quick reply!
Same here. I just purchased the renewal, but I do not see any of the software. This sucks, I really wanted to use the Windows 8 software tonight. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
All, First off, I'm loving this game. But last night i noticed that while playing FE on my left monitor in Win 8, when I tried to scroll to the right side of the screen, the mouse cursor comes off to the second monitor. Any way to prevent that from happening? I did not noticed this in Win 7. Thanks, Brian
How does licensing work? If we purchase a copy, can it be installed on both a Desktop and a laptop or do I need two licenses?
