I get it too. Also, sometimes the roads graphics get all glitched and start appearing everywhere.

I posted about this in the other thread like this, it has something to do with placing gardens. Don't place any gardens in any of your towns or you wont be able to demolish anything. It has to do with researching a certain tech, which is supposed to allow for building gardens, but for some reason you can build gardens without researching the tech. It is bugged, so just don't build gardens.
From my experience, save games wont always load. What I do is, I open the game through impulse and try to load the save. If it doesn't work, I try opening it by clicking on the shortcut which opens a menu and than hitting play. Usually this will load the save for me or if it doesn't at first, I do it a few times and eventually the save will load.
I definitely figured this one out. There is a bug with placing a garden. If you do the research for I think farming or something like that, the first research it allows is a garden, however, you can actually build a garden without researching this. Either way, the garden is screwed. If you place a garden in any of your towns and its bugged, than afterwards whenever you try to demolish something, you will get that error and you can't demolish anything. If you do not place a garden in
Looks like this only happens with custom factions. With default factions I am able to demolish buildings.
No matter what building I try to demolish in any city, it wont let me, I always get the message that "destroying this city will make the city non-contiguous." Happens every time no matter what city I try to do it in.
I dont know if anyone has realized but everytime you move just one unit, the turn will end, doesn't matter if you have idle units or not. The turn will end if one unit is moved, that is something that needs to be fixed.
You need to be close to a beach. A beach will look like the land is going down and touching the water. Doesn't matter if your close to water if there is no beach.
Refugee camps are working fine for me. But there are plenty of other things not working, for example, I can't demolish any buildings in my city, keeps saying this will make the city non-contiguous. It does that for every building I try to demolish.
nevermind, I figured out why it was doing that, it is because I was setting players to 10. I thought that meant max players but it was players per star so I guess it was creating such large distances between worlds.
Ah, I see. I didn't know that. Let me ask you one more thing then. When I make my own map, it takes forever to travel to another planet. I put the phase lane down and all of the other things down to the lowest and it still takes forever. For instance, right now I have a ship traveling from my planet to the star my planet is orbiting and it has already been traveling for 10 minutes and it is only halfway there. 20 minutes to travel to my own star? that seems extreme. When I play one of the defaul
How about making it so only 1 or 2 players can start in one star?
Yeah I was able to change that as well. I had another question. In game, I use the map editor to create a new map and the bars on the bottom which mention stuff like Orbit Radius, Phase lane length, Phase lane chance, Min distance, max distance. What do they all mean and which way is higher? Towards red or towards green? Also how can I edit the map I am making to have only 1 or 2 players start in a given star system?
Another question, are the jumpblockers hardcoded for their range? I wanted to make the range higher for jumpblockers
Yeah I tried doing as the other person said as a bonus but that didn't work. I made the bonus entity and the planet in game says it has the bonus but it doesnt change the size of the grav well at all. I will try what you said Kitkun
I understand, I have to go to each individual planet file and edit it then? I see. Thanks a lot.
Okay, I got it, thanks. Now my question is, how do I make the gravity well larger? What values do I change? Is it in the gameplay file in gameinfo?
How do I do that? Just remove the original ones and put these in?
I have been trying to figure something out. I got these entity files in the gameinfo folder, I know I can convert them to text or bin with the convertdate program. What I want to know is, can i then convert the text files back into entity files? I tried but it didn't seem to work unless I am doing something wrong. Is it possible to just replace the entity files used by the default game? or do I have to make a mod to use the edited files?
Nope. The new ships fly into formation but they dont actually join the fleet. Also, I am pretty sure you can't choose the fleet admiral, I tried many times but I admit I didnt use the tab button, I will try that.
Hmm, yes I understand what you are saying. Also can we get an option to change who is the fleet admiral? Maybe it is in there already and I just don't know what the button is but I have no idea how to change the fleet leader. Also, is there a way to add new ships into a fleet without have to recreate the fleet everytime? That is rather annoying, be nice to just be able to add ships to an existing fleet without having to recreate.
Yes, I think it is the overlapping star thing. I read a few other posts which sounded similar to my problem. Is this fixed yet or soon?
I don't know if this is a bug or a feature. I started a brand new game with a huge galaxy and I am the Vasari. None of the Vasari units will show an icon like the TEC units do, so if I zoom out even a little, I can't see them at all and I can't select them. The ships also seem to be so small that i have to zoom in quite a lot just to see them and then if I zoom in too much it magically transports my camera to a view of the star. This is very annoying and makes it impossible for me to play the Va
