Yeah there is so much creativity in saying, "Hey let's have children do things like become lesbian." A whole lot of creativity there. Please. My post also wasn't entirely being critical, I was also explaining that children are controlled like heroes so I was answering a question. There is really zero point in suggesting things which are so far out there that there is no way they would be implemented.

I just started a new game with just one single continent, large map. I am seeing some things which are different. For example, roaming monsters. I saw no roaming monsters when I did multiple continents and large. Perhaps this time I will see some action from the NPCs.

Dont bother waiting. I posted in another thread about it. If I load a save and it freezes, I just ctl-alt-delete, close the program and than open it up again and try again. I rotate between using the shortcut and opening it from impulse. Eventually it will load, keep trying till it does. Always works for me after a couple tries.

The reason I ask is because I have now played 3 different games with large map, multiple continents and the AI does nothing. I've seen a few civilizations now and they have just one city, don't expand further and their units just keep traveling around the city area that's it. I saw two civilizations that had groups of 4 pioneers who just sat there and did nothing. They never try to found other cities. They don't produce any soldiers and have not gone farther than getting to a lvl 2 town. Ther

Ok after more testing with transports, you definitely can't load troops on a transport just by clicking them on the world map. The only way currently to load troops on a transport is by putting them in a town and than doing it. If you transport your troops to another island for example, your troops are now stuck there unless you build a town or attack another town and are able to than load them on the transport. Also, clicking the tab for details on a transport crashes

I don't think the system would be so bad if there was just a little more choice and strategy involved, but it may be that if they were to limit the amount of food you can find, thereby limiting the houses you can build, we would probably start to see much more serious choices in what we put in our cities because of limited space. Psychoak, I don't think it has to work like that at all and I don't think it would be so difficult to implement. Most of it would just b

It happens to me too. I commented on this in another thread. If you keep trying to load it, it will eventually load. You have to switch off with opening the game from the impulse menu and opening the game from the shortcut. The shortcut opens a separate menu which says play game, update game etc. Opening from impulse doesn't bring up this menu. I have been able to load saves by switching between these 2 ways of opening the game until my save loads.

Sorry but your ideas are not good. You control your children as if they were a hero character or your sovereign. Having uncontrollable children would be retarded because I can guarantee they will all most likely die from stupidity. And why did you bring lesbianism into it? That is by far the most retarded aspect of your idea.

I was able to get troops on a transport. I had the transport next to the city in the ocean and had my troops garrisoned in the city. You can click on them and then left click the transport and they will go in it. I don't think you can load them in the transport if you don't garrison them.

I don't know if this just wasn't implemented yet or what but I can't seem to load any troops on my transport ships. Also, cant put any ships back into the city after I launch them into the water. Finally, if you have just built a ship, it is in the city so if you alt left click any ship and some other units than try to move them together, the ship will get stuck within the city as if it were sailing on land. I am not talking about being garrisoned, I mean it is on the land and can move within

I don't hate the city building exactly and I like being able to build a lot of cities to mimic an actual civilization but I do admit there is not a lot of customization. Although, when you start to get higher up in tech, there are lots of different buildings to build and not enough room to build them in your city. Plus, if you want to get a big city you need a good amount of houses but I have not had any trouble getting the food I need to upgrade my towns honestly. Perhaps food should be more
