You know, you don't have to follow the shows timeline. You can make it up as you go. But I agree, a setting in the first Cylon war would be unique. However we do not know what the cylon ships looked like back then.

Diplomacy will most likely shine in Multiplayer, but Backstabbing and devious acts of sedition against your allies should be expected. Thou, you can win if you are allied to all the remaining factions.

Other then whats on the website, and the little bits of information available in the Beta. How much more back-story or information on the Universe of SOASE will we receive? If their is more info will it be in the Manual? Game? Website? Will their be a Campaign?

If you pump a lot research into the culture towers, I think thats when you start to see the FOW lifted. But as of now I at least don't do that, tend to build military fleets then conquer through peaceful means. Though the bounty system is a cool touch.

Hey its fine, but yeah its their so the economy can be driven. My guess, is that its a TEC only structure which gives them an advantage in the economy portion of the game. In the TEC's backstory, they were the financial, cultural, merchant masters of their domain. And thats why in general their ships aren't powerful.

I hate what star wars has become, except for the cool stuff in between episode 3 and 4. And the old republic. But Admiral Palleon is more then Thrawn, Piett, and a bag of chips. Yeah its not a bug, it says so in the description of the Refinery Station. Is everyone trying to find fault with this game? (The question isn't meant as an insult, just a lot of people with hot air as of late.)
