The icons have been flying out slow for as long as I can rememeber on mine. Wish they were opening as fas as they close. One thing that I did which helped to a noticeable degree is to use png's instead of icon files. I've gathered up all the icons I use on my OD, converted them to a 48px (for flyout items) and 128px ( for zoomers) png's thus getting files that take ~10-20kb not 130kb. Still not perfect but it did help some. The flyout animation is also extremly CPU intensive so any programs run

Got same ( similar ) problem with Corel 12 under similar conditions (and only Corel tha I've noticed). The window will just be resizing or unskinning itself upon opening various dlg boxes. WB latest build (016), no WFX. Was definitely not happening with build 014 (skipped 015). NV 91.31 FW drivers. XP-PRO-SP2. EDIT: Just restored build 014. Things are back to normal now.

I have no idea how to fix it but, I use SQL Server Mgmnt Studio (for SQL 2005) and it skins and works very nicely without any glithces that I noticed. If you don't find a solution to your problem might I suggest downloading SQL Server Express Mgmnt Studio (free), which will handle your SQL 2000 databases in much the same way and handle WB properly. It is a much nicer looking piece of software, too.

Count me in as well. Noticed it happening after upgrading to latest build, although at that time I also downloaded Theme Manager (uninstalled since). Reinstalls, cleanups to no avail. Got 2 icons on my desktop and nothing else so clog is not a problem + it was not happening before.

Flyouts are same as they've been. Yes, mouse-wheel item scroll would be hella cool, but haven't noticed that functionality so I assume it's not there. Also haven't noticed SD mentioning it as a feature either. Don't know about "lots" of user influenced enhancements but I know that tabbed dock not bringing itself to front on activation bugged me as all hell - and bingo, with 1.3 it does - so that takes care of this user's wishes. Other than th

Few thoughts on ObjectDock. FWIW, it is to me a single most useful application and can't imagine life w/o it. But few issues for SD folks: Flyout menus: It be nice if the open animation effect could be adjustable. I have pretty powerful video cards and a beefy system but still once few critical applications

Whew, glad I found this thread. Installed ED fewminutes ago --- (hehehe I said ED) --- and Corel would crash on File Open. Uninstalled, no change. That little reg mod fixed it good. Thx a bunch.

Haven't noticed this (my SyGate F/W did not detect IconX call-home) but a Thumbs Down because: With the new IconX loaded the desktop context menus are not being skinned (this happened immediately after loading new version thru SDC, before any kind of reboot). Unload IconX, back comes the skinning. This only pertains to Desktop context menu and Desktop icons context menus that I noticed. Context for say ObjectDock, Explorer, IE and others still skin fine withnew IconX l
