Stardock issue update system. in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

Why doesn't stardock provide updates to our cases? like the one i submiitted 6 months ago. for example we would know wether or not it's considered , rejected or simply ignored. It is very fustrating when a company introduces all these fancy new features and they can't even tell you is going on with the bug you have. I am not a product manager but any customer feels that fixing a bug in a program should take priority than a new imaging format or animations. thank you, Corey

drag & drop feature request in ObjectDock Stardock Forums

I would find it most appeciated it folders could recieve files instead of just the recycle bin. Also a interseting docklet idea would be one that does different things depending on what dragged on, like if it recieves windows blinds files they go into skin folder or if i drag mp3 it goes to my music folder!! then stardock would totally out do apple "stacks". you could call it "mind reader!" lol!

I feel that stardock should work on windows blinds current problems instead of introducing new features. This bug breaks skins. Every time i see a new feature i wonder why they couldn't just fix this issue, if this is not a major issue why does it take 3 months to fix? Windows blinds is currently a defective product.

I happen to have explorer context menus using the latest beta build of OD in windows vista 32 bit. (1.90 build 537u). Drag and Drop... As of right now, I think there is a bug in drag/drop, it is not even possible to implement it with a docklet, before the drag and drop is made for a menu from the folder, we should just hope we get the drag and drop into the actual folder. The only folder which accepts drag and drop in OD is the recycle bin.

This feature is somewhat buggy in objectdock. i tried to make a docket which would accept files for drag and drop, but heres what happens - The function that tells objectdock if the docket accepts drag/drop works just fine. - In this case I just wrote return true; - After writing this the dock seems to accept the files. - BUT it never seems to call the function which gives you a handle to the hdrop. - Even when i simply output a message upon accepting files, nothing happ

I had this problem with many perpixel mac like themes which had the buttons on the left. I want to say it's the skins fault... but the button image hasn't changed when you maximize the window. the same image is used in both. So i made my own skin. Using the basic stardock perpixel skin in skin studio i replaced the close button with a simple red square which would turn blue on mouse over. Then left aligned it and put the program icon more to the right. At first it seems the hotspot was correctly

Perpixel hotspot offset (left align caption buttons) in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

Dear skinning community, When using a perpixel skin which has a shadow on left,right, and bottom, i noticed that clicking the minimize button sometimes clicks on the x button. The hotspots are all misaligned, but this only occurs when the window is maximized (when the shadow is not drawn on either side). I tried to edit it skin studio by playing around with the button y-offset, which has 2 diffrent values (one for minmized windows and one for maximized windows) but still the button's hotspot

This is a folder permission problem. You do not have access to that folder. Normally this is caused by windows vista which has access restrictions on every folder expect your home folder. One workaround would be go to start, and find winzip under the start menu then right click it and click run as administrator. Another solution would be to extract them to your desktop and then drag the folder to the appropriate directory, in this case vista will ask you to confirm it.

Object Dock in Vista in ObjectDock Stardock Forums

While using windows vista home premiuim I noticed a couple of things. 1 Certain Icons cannot be changed even though objectdock recoginzes the process name. 2 when loading task manager objectock will freeze for like 30 seconds even if task manager isn't launched through object dock. 3 Object dock will freeze when the resolution changes for about 20 seconds also. 4 When I mimize VLC while playing a video it will only update it when i make the dock zoom in and out( basically when i make it redraw t

Another problem with windowfx maximize. in WindowFX WinCustomize Forums

If you click on the task bar to mimizie a window and then click again to maximize it, it moves up quite a bit, do it 2 or or three times and the window's bar is out of sight , this only happens if the task bar is on the top if it's on the side the windows moves to the side.
