Plus, didn't Kol use actual images from Vista? I think I read that somewhere... Besides, there was a program (Visual Tooltip) that did taskbar previews before Stardock OR Microsoft .
Keikonium
It is a Secondary Slave drive. The pin (little plastic piece) in the back is not there as stated on the top of the hard drive for the correct position I have it in. This was one of the first things I checked. I also tried placing it as a Secondary Master and it did the same thing.
I aquired a hard drive from a friend about a week ago and hooked it up to my computer. It is a 40 GB Seagate hard drive. It works great, I can store information on it and such, but I am having a problem. Everytime I reboot my computer I get some "errors". I say "errors" because the hard drive still works, and my OS functions fine, but I get the following: Now I have searched for the ST340810A d
I whipped two up for you: Oh, and they are awaiting moderation
I was pretty disappointed by RC1 . The Beta 2 worked great on my computer. Really great infact. It was VERY fast and looked great of course. So I went ahead and tried out the RC1. Got rid of the Beta 2, formatted the hard drive, and installed RC1. Only to find out two things. The first install simply refused to work. It said that my computer didn't support the
It's been a while since I made any object docks (don't even use it anymore actually ) but isn't there a padding flag in the .ini files for the docks? You can increase that if it exists (I can't remember). Worth a look I suppose .
I'm not 100% sure, but my guess would be that it is the same thing as media player. I just installed Vista on a second harddrive, and the same download of IE7 on XP and Vista give me two different things (transparent on Vista, and not on XP). So I think its either some .dll's on Vista that enable certain apps to have 'extra' transparency, or something deeper than that. But as far as I know, this cannot be done on an XP machine. (some please correct me if I am wrong...)
Free? WMA? DRM? I'll stick to Limewire... It's nice of them to give away free music however.
2 things... First, I just want to thank you VERY much for creating this log in: Blueberry Ridge I have been using it for quite sometime . Second, an easier way to have your links NOT be WWW Link is to simply edit the WWW Link text when you use the BB code the board provides instead of all that view source stuff <img src="
You can with webshots. It's not made by stardock, but you can have a changing background. Pretty sure you can put it on a custom timer, but I know it has at least every 5 minutes, 10 minutes, etc. It's cool . You can take a look if you want here: WWW Link You can load your own pictures into sets by the way. You don't have to use the provided image
LOL, thats awesome. I only wish I could have seen it while it was hacked
Its a product put out by AveDesk: WWW Link
lol, that video is right. My Nvida card is kinda loud... especially having my computer right next to my bed while I *try* and sleep lol. I've gotten used to it. I must say tho... some Nvidia cooked steak doesn't sound very appealing .
It wasn't that exact one, no . This program was freeware, and not made by stardock. I'm still searching the fourms for it and checking back here. (that does look really nice however... To bad it wasn't free >.<)
I saw a program that was posted a while ago on these fourms that could set up hotkeys for windows programs. I have searched the fourms for it, but not remembering much about it makes it hard. For example, I could set up Ctrl+Alt+1 to launch 1 program, and Ctrl+Alt+2 to launch another. No matter what screen I was currently on. If anybody has a slight idea of the program that would do this (it was a windows thing) that would be great. Thanks.
Happy Birthday Po !!!
Diafragma thats an incredible desktop. Very nice . Here is mine (shh about the vistaish of it ):
For number 3 I don't think thats possible altho I have not experiemented with DesktopX Themes all that much. Because it is a program, it has to load. Windowblinds is (as far as I know) intergrated into explorer.exe which loads WITH windows therefore loading windowblinds with it. DesktopX doesn't do this. Thats what I think anyway... please correct me if I am wrong.
Guess I shoulda searched a bit harder . The only links on WinMatrix I came across linked to a removed file at joejoe's site. I found it now, so thank you StephanA. And thanks for the offer Musical-Mayhem, but I got it now ^__^.
Gah, can't edit my topic post... soo... The name of the package was "Vista Icons Pack v2.0 Ultimate". If anyone has it, and wouldn't mind putting it up for download, I would appriciate it. Or a link that already exists... but I have looked .
I had downloaded an icon package a while back from joejoe but it is no longer there. So I am looking for a fairly complete Vista Icon Package. Does anyone know of a good one? Thanks .
Apply the skin, but make sure all explorer (including IE) windows are closed. If it still doesn't work, then apply the skin with the above method, then restart your computer. Boot back up, and it should work.
Well, I've been told by many people (techs and stuff) that we have a 56k connection. But I am going thru cable. So I am not 100% sure. Download and upload speeds suck (at times) and the routher/firewalls don't help it anyway .
Pathetic. I'd have to disagree with you. For boyfriend/girlfriend where one goes away on vaction, this is great! Or for families with parents gone to war, blogging\emailing\chatting REALLY helps ease distance. I think this is great if you want to show someone how much you care about them, but can't re
Wow, these people seriously suck. I'm surprised they actual have their own layout, and didn't steal it from someone else. I recommend not to post a link to a cracked product bratdimitt :S.
