Win10 Pro 15063.413 WindowBlinds 10.62 Any time either my desktop or laptop starts up, the clock disappears so there's just a big blank spot where date/time should be. If I load another theme that theme's clock shows up correctly, and if I then change back to the Win8 theme I use, the clock appears. Anyone else? Any ideas why?

When in doubt, reinstall. I have no idea what was wrong, but that seems to have fixed it. *crossing fingers* I take that back. Still jamming. Also drove my CPU usage to 100% on Windows Explorer. Generating dump and emailing to SD support.<

For some reason, I can only run one DeskScapes background (Winter Snow). Any other background loads properly, but automatically stops playing after 2-3 seconds even though my laptop is on AC power and no windows are maximized. What's going on here? I've tried clearing the extracted files folder. Windows 8.1 x64
Google Chrome dev-m Aura builds, both Windows 8.0 and 8.1. Titlebar is completely transparent, and no controls. Also a gap between the window border and the actual window. Likely due to the new hardware accelerated UI. https://imgur.com/WDR7qKM
I have the same problem, but it is now with the standard Chrome channel. http://imageshac

That's precisely what gives me purple (Gray base, minimum brightness, minimum saturation). Turning of "Use Smart Recoloring" turns it grey instead of purple, but not black.

Lame puns aside, I can't seem to make a "black" hued skin (Halloween) in WindowBlinds 8 using the Win8 skin from Stardock. This was previously possible in Windows itself--but as has been noted here WindowBlinds completely over-rides the Windows color settings. No matter what I do with Hue and Saturation, I end up with a color. The best I can manage is the built-in grey. What am I missing?

I was successfully able to edit the color of progress bars using SkinStudio and Photoshop. Much easier than hacking resource files and running unsigned themes. Thanks!

Oh this is all strictly for personal use anyway. Do you have any recommendations on creating new colored progress bars? I took the base image, turned it B&W (to preserve highlights), then did a color overlay in Photoshop.

In Windows 7, outside of WindowBlinds anyone wishing to change the color of the progress bars seen for installations, etc. had to edit the MSSTYLES file directly. I have many files I created for this purpose. I figured WindowBlinds would make things easier. It hasn't--probably because I don't know which button to push, so to speak. I see that different skins in WindowBlinds 8 (running Windows 8, no 8.1 preview) have different colored bars. For instanc

I'm aware that DeskScapes pauses when on battery. However, even when paused, DeskScapes causes a decrease in battery life! Windows 7 reports the following with DeskScapes installed: Platform Timer Resolution:Outstanding Timer Request A program or service has requested a timer resolution smaller than the platform maximum timer resolution. I use the excellent wallpapers from the site I linked. I have 3 monitors, and there are multiple-monitor (i.e. intended to span) versions of all this person's newer work. Is it possible for a dream like Neil Banfield's snowflakes to work with a "wallpaper" that was created like this one? The wallpaper was generated by DisplayFusion and is actually somewhat backward. The smaller image is on

Well you (Stardock) might have finally sold me on this program. I was complaining (rather loudly) about DeskScape's refusal to run when more than one GPU was detected back in the Vista days. My friend told me DeskScapes 3 was out, so I downloaded the trial. BAM. Windows 7 support? Check. Support multiple GPUs? Check (with CPU overhead, but I have a quad so I don't care). I appreciate that Stardock has taken the time to deal with mutiple-GPU, m
Do you have a multimonitor setup? Just curious, maybe the problem is because of my 2 videocards.
That may be it. I have triple (well two on one card and one seperate--9800GX2 and 7900GTX) video cards and Dreams have never worked. It doesn't like the fact that I have more than one GPU. I posted about it a long time ago during the Vista days. Devs said they would "look into it," never saw any results and I don't

Right now I've got DeskScapes Free working on Windows 7. I presume that despite MS's dropping support for DreamScene (heck there never was DreamScene in XP), Stardock will bring "official" Deskscapse back to 7 so that I no longer have to rely on a half-baked hack? It's just a matter of waiting, right? Which I am perfectly content to do as my Dreams sorta work right now. The only thing I'd like to see is for Stardock to untangle that stupid "multiple GPUs = no D

I have a 9800GX2 (which is two GPUs on one PCB) and a 7900GTX. The 9800GX2 is in SLI mode all the time, so only drives a single display. I'd use it for two but SLI multimonitor only works on DVI port 1 and HDMI, not DVI 1 and DVI 2. The 7900GTX is responsible for two monitors.

I know I asked about this a long time ago in a very, very old thread that I'm not going to dredge up. But, the crux of the matter is that I have two videocards (9800GX2 in SLI mode and a 7900GTX). Dreams and DeskScapes worked fine on the 7900GTX (although they would stutter since the card is rather old). They also worked on the 9800GX2 in SLI mode, but not when the card "splits" itself since both DVI outputs are not on a single GPU. The point is that when DreamScene/De

I do find it interesting because Seabass told me at one point in my own thread about this very topic that something was being worked on and that I could expect something (a yea or a nay) around the time that DeskScapes 2.0 was released (since DeskScapes 2.0 was taking up all the development resources at the time).

Is there at least a way to get DreamScene to run on one monitor even if multiple display adapters are detected then (i.e. "Pick which monitor you want your Dream on")? Or is anyone using multiple monitors and multiple display adapters out of luck?
