Man, I completely screwed that up, didn't I? I let my brain take over when explaining it, again. Sorry. >. I honestly don't know why I added the "redefine standard" thing in there. Apparently, I made that up during some wishful thinking. I'd also never intended to make this a forum post,

*THIS POST HAS BEEN EDITED!!!!* I have determined that the original post... sucked. A less sucky one will now be provided. Alright, let's try this again. I'm working on a WindowBlinds skin, and it is an awesome one. Most awesome? I don't know. That's for you to decide when it's done. I'll be posting pics as I get more and more of the concept done, but lately... I've been distracted by anime. Lucky Star, Elfen Lied, Inuyasha... it's just all so interesting! :( Anyways, I'll get back

I just got through watching 2 more anime series. I'll give a brief review of each of 'em. First off is "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya". This series is about a freshman high school girl who is everything but normal. She makes it clear on the first day of school that she is not interesting in ordinary humans. The story is told from the viewpoint of Kyon, another freshman high school student. The series starts off with a brief int

I'm working with a friend to create the most awesome windowblinds skin ever made. It should be done by this time in 2010, with luck. (We are both really slow, lazy workers). I'm also helping create a skinable media library of sorts. Should be interesting when I finally get it done. :)

I have the exact same problem you do. You don't need to reinstall Windows. Just do a system restore to before when you installed IP. Vista should automatically create a restore point whenever it updates (unless you manually disabled it). It may cause you to lose some programs, but it will not affect documents, and is better than nothing. Anyways, Stardock is well aware of this problem, and has made plans to fix it. I'm not sure how long that will take, though. I'd recommend just staying

When I go onto WinCustomize and download a skin, I usually just let Firefox open it with WindowBlinds, since it'll automatically install it for me. However, I've done that twice, and it has screwed up my computer. After the skin was installed, I opened up WB to apply it, and it kind of stopped half way through it, leaving half of my taskbar skinned, and not allowing me to use anything on the screen. I could move my mouse around, but that was pretty much it. I had to restart into safe mode and

The cursor just completely disappears when I play Team Fortress 2. Although I haven't tested it in other games, I'm sure the same applies to most games, especially on Steam. Vista Ultimate x64, the aquarat cursor theme.

Alright, I'll believe you there. I don't see any reason for it not to work with x64. However, that still doesn't explain why it won't work. Since I formatted my hard drive before I installed this OS, any files left from that old copy don't exist anymore. Thus, that can't be the problem. Any ideas what's wrong?

Uhhh... yeah. I used to be running regular XP Pro. Then, I recently upgraded to XP Pro x64. I decided that I'd install the free version of WindowBlinds (since I'm still too cheap to buy it). It installed just fine, no problem. I then tried to run it, and it said it needed to restart. No big deal, I saw that comming. So, I restarted, and tried it again. It didn't want to believe that I had restarted. It was asking me to restart again, or use an additional process. I tried the additional process,
