Yeah . . . it really sucks when you lose everything! Hopefully you backed up your stuff and/or don't care. And if you're having trouble with the BIOS, you might want to refer to some sort of manual that came with your computer or motherboard. Or you could just experiment with it, like I did.

Disable System Restore, use some sort of antispyware/antivirus utility. That works for me. For antivirus, get AVG. The free version caught what Norton and McAfee couldn't . . . the horrible Bagle worm. Anyways, try that. But, if all else fails, attempt to back up data, and do a clean Windows installation.

I've been using it since it first went Beta, and I've never had any problems with it. Great program. Uses almost no CPU usage on my computer, and I have an Intel Pentium 4 with HT, 2.8 ghz. 516 RAM, no problems here.
